Marcus calmly looked at both of them before speaking again.

“So,” he said quietly, “are you still going to continue claiming that you wrote this proposal?”

The moment those words landed-Dennis and Janet completely broke down.

Both of them immediately dropped to their knees in panic. “Please forgive us!” Dennis blurted out desperately. “It is all a misunderstanding!”

Janet hurriedly nodded while tears already formed in her eyes.

“Yes! Please sir. Please forgive us. The proposal was technically assigned under our department, so we

only passed it to them to work on for experience while we supervised everything.”

Dennis quickly added, “Yes sir! We only guided them and balanced the project afterward.”

Marcus stared at them coldly.

“You are still lying even now,” he said.

Both of them froze.

“Janet literally called the proposal trash this morning,” Marcus continued. “And Dennis, you did not add a single thing to that project.”

Natalie’s expression became even uglier hearing that.

Marcus slowly stood from his chair and looked directly at them.

“You abused your authority. Bullied workers. Threatened interns. Stole credit from employees beneath you and even used your relationship to manipulate the department.”

Dennis immediately shook his head desperately.

“No sir! Please! We did not know who you really were!”

Janet burst into tears.

“If we knew you were the CEO we would never dare act like that!”

Marcus’ eyes instantly turned colder.

“So if I was truly an ordinary intern, then all this behavior would suddenly become acceptable?”

Neither of them could answer.

Marcus continued calmly.

“I am sure many innocent people must have either resigned or gotten unfairly sacked because of the two of you.”

Janet was crying openly now.

“I want both of them out,” he said firmly. “Immediately.”

Dennis and Janet looked horrified.

“No! Please! Sir please forgive us!”

“And make sure both of them are blacklisted as well,” he added coldly. “I do not want them entering

another company just to continue treating people this way.”

Janet completely broke down hearing that.

“No please! this will ruin our life completely, we will be doomed!”

Dennis also looked like he was about to collapse.

Natalie finally spoke coldly. “You both should have thought about the consequences before behaving like this,” she said sharply. “You became arrogant because you believed you would never get caught.”

The two of them kept crying and pleading desperately.

Natalie then pointed toward the door.

“You are both officially dismissed from this company,” she declared. “Leave immediately.”

But neither Dennis nor Janet moved.

They remained on the floor begging continuously. Begging for another chances.

Natalie finally sighed in annoyance before pressing the intercom. “Security,” she said coldly. “Come to the board room immediately.”

A few moments later, guards entered the room.

Dennis and Janet’s faces turned completely hopeless as the guards approached them.

Dennis and Janet still kept pleading desperately even after the guards arrived.
