"I can come to your studio." David clearly had his response prepared. "I have something extremely important I need to tell you in person."

Why did everyone suddenly have something 'extremely important' to tell her in person lately?

Nora didn't pry. "Come by in the afternoon, then."

"Alright." David didn't elaborate further.

Having agreed on a time, they quickly ended the call.

Nora went back to chatting with her friends.

The clock soon struck 10:00 PM.

Nora relocated from the sofa to her bed.

Wrapped in her fluffy duvet, she found her mood inexplicably souring.

It was probably because of Parker.
