The Divorce That Brought Us Back novel Chapter 251

The four of them had been standing in a circle, and Parker happened to be directly facing Nora.

The sudden drop startled Nora so badly she practically jumped.

She quickly scrambled out of the way.

"Cassidy!" Parker saw stars from the intense pain. He roared through gritted teeth, "Are you out of your mind?!"

Cassidy replied coldly, "Apologize."

"What did I say wrong? Why should I apologize?"

"If you don't apologize right now, I'm going to tell your parents you got arrested over another woman. Enjoy being grounded again."

"Is snitching and twisting the truth all you're good for?!"

Parker struggled to his feet.

Fearing Parker might lash out, Jasper quickly stepped in and gripped his shoulder. "Parker, man, Maloney is married. Spouting off like that in front of the ladies is totally out of line. You owe them an apology."

Parker scoffed. "What, you guys can't handle the truth?"

Jasper's expression darkened. "If Maloney catches wind of this, he'll rip you apart."

"You think I'm scared of him?!"

"Cassidy is pregnant. You shouldn't be stressing her out."

"So what if she's pregnant? Does that make her invincible?"

"Parker!"

In the middle of the argument, a massive entourage swept out of the precinct's inner offices.

It was Seraphina, flanked by her legal team, assistants, and bodyguards.

All four of them turned to look.

Seraphina bore a stark, violent red handprint across her cheek, a clear testament to how viciously she had been struck. She made no effort to hide it, her chin held high and her neck rigidly straight, a chilling storm brewing in her eyes.

As she swept through the lobby, her gaze flicked to Nora for a split second. She didn't say a word, continuing her march toward the exit.

Parker scrambled after her, limping slightly. "Seraphina!"
