"I actually think having one sooner wouldn't be so bad. It might instill some family values in you, so you aren't constantly away from home."

"When am I constantly away from home?" Nora paused, then added, "I've just been a little busy lately."

"Is that so?"

"Yes. Once this promotional event wraps up, I'll take at least half a month off."

Maloney remained noncommittal.

When they arrived at the airport, they headed to the check-in counter together.

Nora stared at the plane ticket in his hand. "Where are you going?"

Maloney wrapped an arm around her shoulder, steering her toward security. "Take a guess."

Maloney ended up flying to Southampton with her.

"Why didn't you tell me earlier?"

On the plane, Nora muttered softly, "Did you plan this, or did you just buy the ticket?"

She had booked a business class ticket.

At check-in, they had secured adjacent seats.

It was a luxurious double seat, separated only by a small tray table.

Maloney turned slightly, resting his elbow on the table, and curled a finger at her.
