The Divorce That Brought Us Back novel Chapter 353

Or like when he changed his tune and said he wanted a baby, she actually agreed to have one with him.

Maloney also discovered that Nora was incredibly susceptible to his physical charms.

Annoying?

This was endlessly entertaining.

Nora had to visit the textile factory early the next morning.

After they finished twice, she wanted to take a shower.

When Maloney refused to let her go, Nora blindly grabbed his hand and pulled his ring finger into her mouth.

Seeing no reaction from him, she gently bit down, inch by inch, until her teeth grazed his wedding band. He still didn't react.

Nora tilted her head back slightly, shooting him a confused look.

Maloney lifted his finger slightly, his nail gently scraping the roof of her mouth.

Nora hurriedly pulled away.

"What are you doing?"

"What?"

"I bit you!"

"You never said it couldn't be a light bite."

Nora choked on her frustration. "That still counts!"

"No, it doesn't."

"It does!"

Maloney flipped her over. "Go to sleep. I'll wash you later."

Nora was so infuriated she stayed awake for half the night.

He had made the rules, and now he was backtracking. He just manipulated everything to suit himself.

Unsurprisingly, with Maloney around, Nora's work efficiency plummeted.

After two days of messing around, they had to establish strict ground rules before she could properly focus on her work.

Nora had originally planned to stay in Southampton for only a week before returning to the capital.

But since Maloney had corporate business to handle there, she was in no rush to head back.

While waiting for the promotional events to officially begin, Nora shadowed the master craftsmen, learning their traditional weaving techniques.

Her plan was to master the craft, return home, and independently design and weave a custom silk gown. She would then ask Leona to model it, creating a mini-collaboration.

Nora sent her a text instead.

It wasn't until evening that Cassidy finally saw the message.

She replied with a single word: 'Okay.'

Nora asked: 'Were you busy today?'

'Yeah,' Cassidy replied. 'Maddie came home.'

Nora: 'Congratulations!'

'Also...' Cassidy typed, hesitating.

Parker had come home with Maddie.

It had been agreed upon in advance by both families that Cassidy would raise Maddie.

However, Parker had spent every day by Maddie's incubator. Unable to bear parting with his daughter, he demanded to move into The Quinn Manor to help take care of her.

He claimed he would just stay in the guest room.

Cassidy refused.

She told him, "When you visited Maddie at the hospital, you went during the day and went home at night. It's the exact same here. Visit during the day, go home at night. You are not living here."
