Realizing Cassidy was about to say something entirely unhinged, Nora grabbed a throw pillow and smashed it directly into her face, muffling the rest of the sentence.

Right on cue, Jasmine unlocked the door and walked in.

"Why am I always the last one to the gossip circle?" Jasmine squeezed onto the couch between them, looking left and right. "Are you two fighting?"

"Hold on a sec, Jasmine." Cassidy threw up a time-out hand, then snapped back to Nora. "Just tell me if it's true."

Nora just stared.

Cassidy smirked. "Did he just raw-dog you until you..."

"Gah—" Nora lunged, slapping her hand over Cassidy's mouth again. "Yes, yes, yes!"

Cassidy's eyes shone with pure envy. "You lucky bitch, living the dream!"

Nora had no words.

"No!" Nora was frantic, her face burning crimson. "It was entirely my fault. I got way too drunk, and things got... out of hand! Either way, I'm too humiliated to ever face him again."

"There is nothing embarrassing about that," Cassidy declared with absolute certainty. "Trust me, he isn't bothered by it at all. He probably feels like a god right now."

Nora buried her face in her hands.

Jasmine sat there utterly lost. "What are we talking about? Can someone please give me a recap?"

Cassidy shot Jasmine a knowing look. "You're an unmarried virgin. You wouldn't get it."

"I do too get it!" Jasmine shook Nora's arm. "Nora, stop speaking in code. Tell me!"

Nora was too ashamed to speak.

She regretted telling Cassidy anything.

Since Nora wouldn't talk, Cassidy kept her mouth shut too.

After a bit more prodding, Nora caved and gave her the sanitized version. "It's bedroom stuff."
