The Eclipsed Life of Luna Mischa (by Jennifer Francis) novel Chapter 110

It sounded to her as though, with how very broken she and Anthony were and her lack of contact with Anthony, he and his wolf were fretting that he believed she wasn’t going to be returning to him and the pack at all. That she’d left him.

That was interesting to her, as well as the fact that Christy herself had sent a message to her telling her to call Anthony. Christy would never do that. But those words of she also couldn’t settle him. That probably meant Anthony didn’t want a bar of Christy right now either. Where one of his Mates would normally be able to settle him, that was no longer the case.

He could well feel now that him always being with Christy. That this was it, that Mischa was actively leaving him only she’d done it without rejecting him, because she had no fear of him causing her pains of betrayal; like she’d said he wouldn’t, because he’d never do that to Christy.

That her leaving now, like this, after Christy had stopped her from speaking with him, that Mischa had just had enough, and decided at that very moment to leave him, that it was now all Christy’s fault that she wouldn’t talk to him or come home.

And that was the very reason Chrisy had seen fit to text her as well. She was copping it from Anthony or Shade, or maybe the Elders if they knew what was going on. If Anthony and Shade were fretting, it was highly likely that the Elders did know something was going on as well. Though they’d not called or messaged her. She’d told them they would see something interesting and here it was, she supposed.

She’d warned Christy about being able to handle the consequences and from that one message she’d gotten, it was likely Christy hadn’t truly thought much past it being only her and Anthony inside the pack. With Mischa gone, it would be to Christy just like she was the only reigning Luna and Christy had thought this would show her just what it was going to be

like.

Her on Anthony’s arm having his undivided attention without having to find ways to divert him away from Mischa herself. Only from that message it wasn’t going according to her plan and she was getting to see just how Anthony was reacting to Mischa actually not being there inside the pack, him thinking she wasn’t going to be his Mate anymore.

It clearly wasn’t the two of them, all lovedup and super happy, and only now was Christy realizing, that in all likelihood Mischa actually leaving Anthony for good, was not going to bring about the result Christy wanted. That he wasn’t going to just forget who she was, and his entire heart would belong to Christy; that she wouldn’t have to compete with Mischa

anymore.

Claim

That Mischa was nothing to him as she’d been trying desperately to erase her from Anthony’s world, only she’d not considered that when a bond broke or was severed, there were actual after affects and residual pain. Which is likely what she was seeing now in Anthony if he did

in fact think she was leaving him.

Christy’s allhappy, lovedup life; being Anthony’s one and only Mate and Luna, it wasn’t going to see him be happy andshe thought about that as she looked at Christy’s own words in that text message and the word Unmanageable.Popped into her mind.

She snorted, Oh, so you can’t handle him in a fit of rage or fretting, because you’re the actual cause of what is wrong with him, and you know it now. He knows it now.She shook her head. You reap what you sow. That girl had sowed discord and now was having to suffer discord within her own mate bond due to the discord she planted between her Mate and his

other Mate.

Only this was just the beginning for that shewolf and she didn’t know it. Mischa stared at that text for a long time and thought about just what she wanted to write back, because she was going to respond to it, but she needed to think it through carefully.

Word herself as if she was standing right in front of Christy speaking to her, and then she opted not to text at all but to send a recorded message. She held the button down for that, and stated, I’m rude and hurting him? but it’s okay for you to get Anthony to ignore me, be rude to me and hurt me all the time! is my not being there affecting your bond with Anthony, Christy? Getting a taste of your own medicine are we! Only you find it bitter and hard to swallowI might just not be coming back, maybe Christythat call I was making was to tell him that, and youshe chuckled softly. Stopped me from telling him. I did ask you if you could bear the consequences, did I not! I’m giving you exactly what you want, me goneI know that’s your end game, he’ll never cause me pains of betrayal because that would hurt you So, I don’t have to reject him to leave him. But this way, he’ll always feel I’m separated from him, and know you were the cause of it…she laughed once more, and there was a bit of Laud in it as well for that girl to hear. I told you, you had to up your game, that you didn’t know me or what I would doEnjoying being his one and only Mate and Luna are we Christy!she laughed merrily before letting go of the button.

It was long and involved, but she had a feeling Christy would actually listen to it in full, just to see what Mischa wanted to say. She looked at the recording and smiled to herself. It went for 1 minute and 16 seconds. That had to intrigue the shewolf enough to listen to it.

Mischa also didn’t think that Christy, after hearing what she’d said, would run it right to Anthony and let him hear it, because she’d just dumped Christy’s ass in it. Stated what she believed was Christy’s end game, how she felt about Anthony’s always being with Christy and that she was in fact not coming back. That she’d left him and wasn’t going to issue a rejection to make him always suffer feeling her being separated from him.

Claim

Christy would likely have to curse herself for this turn of events, because if Mischa didn’t come back, and she couldn’t handle Anthony now, how was she going to in a week or two or when he sensed out her heat in May and couldn’t do anything about it?

If Christy took that recording to Anthony, and he heard it all, he’d likely beat the hell out of Christy no matter how much she tired to tell him it wasn’t the case, that she didn’t want Mischa to leave him. Because right now he was fretting over her leaving him and that message stated she was, and that he’d not heard it from Mischa herself when she called because Christy hadn’t put it through to him, so he hadn’t had the chance to sway her into not leaving him that was all going to fall on Christy.

It was actually all on Christy right this very minute, and that girl couldn’t bear the weight of the consequences of what she’d done. She was going to listen to it, fume about it, likely scream and pitch a fit in her suite and then delete that message, so Anthony would never hear it and know the truth.

Mischa was yet to know what it was Christy had told Anthony about why she forgot to tell him Mischa had called. There was no excuse really. He was only in the shower and so not busy at all, he could have taken her call, probably been happy to, in fact, considering how she’d left the pack and the curtness he’d gotten from her while in Obsidian.

Christy, she thought, was not able to handle Anthony and Shade before she’d sent that message, and him listening to something like that, she could well find her head coming off at the hands of her own Mate. Though that wouldn’t save her and Anthony’s bond at all, just likely bring about her rejecting him prior to that heat coming, so she didn’t have to deal with it

at all.

She was only staying inside this pack to see her own plans come into fruition, to see Christy suffer at her own hands, and teach that bitch a lesson. That one shouldn’t play with fire if they couldn’t handle getting burned. Mischa had been burned long ago, so throwing more flammable material into the fire didn’t concern her at all.

She could handle the heat, she wasn’t going to be burned by those flames that had come and gone for her, she was just there waiting to see what was left in the ashes and nothing more. She stood up and headed for bed. She’d thought she was happy coming from that meeting, but now she was even happier knowing that Christy was back inside Night Whispers, very unhappy and obviously not getting what she wanted.

She sat and documented her day in her diary. All that had transpired, Alpha Gretta’s approval of the situation at hand and how she felt about it all. Then documented her and Laud’s conversation with Selena about the second Mate they wanted for themselves, everything they’d said word for word. Put a little happy smiley face right here next to it and in brackets wrote (we believe Selena will grant us a smoking hot wild at heart Mate that will never betray

us.)

Claim

Then she relaxed in her bed and wondered just what Anthony and his wolf would make of her diary she’d leave behind. How long it would take him to find it, and understand she’d been a lost cause to him for a lot longer than he could have even fathomed.

We could take it with us and ship it back to him when we’ve settled in somewhere new,

She thought about that herself Wait until we get that new Mate, we didn’t feel him mark and mate Christy. He wouldn’t know if we would get a new Mate if he wasn’t there to see itbut when that heat comes after our marking and mating, the following week, he’ll feel that, sense it out like he would here inside this pack, and yet not get hit with the pains of betrayal, but sense that heat for however long it lasted.

‘That will cause him to wonder where we are, and if we are suffering it alone. Likely, if he’s not realized we’ve left him, make him hunt for us, and realize we’re not in the pack, call us to find out where we are. Then fret when he can’t find us, or we don’t answer the call, considering all he’s done.’ Mischa thought back.

We told him we’d let another sate our heat,’ Laud stated.

Yes, which if we don’t, and he doesn’t get hit with pains of betrayal, he’d have to consider a second Mate was involved. I did tell him I hoped we got one, and then he’d see just what it was like for me to turn to that other Mate, that only they’d be allowed to sate our heat and

not him.

Serve him right.Laud yawned.

Mischa smiled, Yes it would.she answered.
