Kendrick arrived with the Cat of 3 tails, and he held it out to her, “Luna, it is your right to lash Christy, seeing as you are the offended party. Would you like to do it?” he asked her.

“No,” Mischa stated. “I’m not at all interested in lashing Christy for simply being who she is,” Mischa stated, as she shook her head ‘no‘ and she wouldn’t be the one to lash her, she hadn’t been the one to ask for her to be lashed. She also wasn’t about to take part in it either

Kendrick nodded even as Christy looked at her with open curiosity, or maybe salculation as she tried to figure out why Mischa wasn’t going to lash her. She didn’t understand it, it seemed, and that was because they weren’t on the same playing field at all.

Kendrick then held that Cat out to Anthony, and he looked at it, and she wondered if he would lash his own Mate. That should never be done, it could rip a bond apart, and she didn’t want that, she needed them to stay bonded and together; at least for now.

Her hand reached out and landed on his arm even as Christy’s eyes turned to Anthony in horror at the thought that he was going to personally lash her, as he reached out to take that Cat from Kendrick.

“No,” Mischa stated, calmly, stopping him. “Do not lash your own Mate. Have Kendrick or one of the Elders do it. You should not, it could break your bond in full.” She told him what he already knew, knowing it was why he’d stood staring at that Cat for a full minute before reaching out for it. He and Shade had been contemplating the ramifications of lashing their own Mate.

Again, Christy’s eyes moved to her and Mischa stated simply, “I’m not completely heartless, Christy. I am also a Luna, and know no one should lash the one they love, unless under dire circumstances, and regardless that I dislike you. I, as the Luna to this pack, do not see this as dire circumstances.

“As ticked off as I see, your own Alpha Mate is with you. I am not angry at all about what you did. I have gotten past the point of being angry with you, about what you do and how you go about it, passed that point long ago.”

She had lashed him, her own Mate, but he’d deserved it and the situation had called for it. It had been the only way to keep her here in the pack. He’d accepted her lashing him, and she’d wanted to lash him. Those two things together were different to one lashing a Mate that didn’t want you to lash them. The first meant you could get through it, the second not so much.

Anthony’s hand dropped back down to his side, “You’re too gracious, Mischa.” He murmured.

“Will of the Goddess,” she stated simply by way of answering him. “Beta.” She addressed Kendrick now. Would you attend to the lashings, or do you wish to pass it to a pack Elder instead?” she offered him a way out of lashing his Alpha’s second Mate.

He sighed as he looked at her. He too, she thought, was wondering just what she was thinking, why she was stopping Anthony from lashing Christy. He probably thought she would want to see him do that; everyone probably did. She saw him look at Christy as Christy now stared at Kendrick. She’d been there for

the way Kendrick had helped Mischa laah her and Anthony. She knew he could do it without issue.

‘ll do it,” Debbie voiced and stepped forward to where they all stood, “As the one in charge of correcting Christy’s behavior, since she got out of the cells, I feel it should be me, if not the reigning Alpha or Luna.” Debbie took that Cat right from Kendrick’s hand. “I’ve lashed many in my time as a Luna, I can not only handle it, but do it without batting an eyelid as well. Part and parcel of my job as Luna when I reigned, when my Mate was out of the pack and punishments had to be dealt out,” she stated for all to hear.

Then she walked over to Christy and motioned for her to turn around and face the post, unless she wanted to take the lashes on her front side. She watched Christy turn away and there was anger there on her face. The she–wolf still didn’t know how to be remorseful, it seemed. Probably would never learn, Mischa thought absently.

“You are my charge,” Debbie voiced to Christy, “Until such a time as you pass those Luna Lessons appointed to you. So, from now on, you will learn the hard way to be a good Luna, even if I have to personally lash you into becoming that very thing… If you want to stay here and be a Luna to this pack, remember this very moment.

“That I am in charge of you, and I will be the one to lash you at every turn until you turn over a new leaf. You will submit she–wolf or be tossed out on your ass with nothing come November… These first 5 lashes are for the disrespect you on purpose showed to Luna Mischa,” Then Debbie swung that Cat, and it tore through Christy’s skin, and she screamed out in pain.

Lash her into becoming a Luna? Mischa mused with curiosity, and she wondered if that would actually work. Could they, the Elders of the pack, force Christy’s nature to change and stop her being so narcissistic and transform her into something that resembles an actual Luna, that could be respectful and mindful of others inside the pack, to not only care about her own needs and wants? She supposed anything was possible at this point.

“This next 5 lashes is for the blatant disrespect you showed to your own Mate, who is the Alpha to the pack, in deciding who he can and can not speak to; that being his other and first Mate, Luna Mischa,” Debbie announced. And then lashed her again.

There were two dozen pack members out here milling about watching on as their Alpha’s second Mate was once again out here on the shaming post being lashed by the hierarchy of the pack.

“These next 5 lashes are for thinking you’re more important than Mischa is, that you believe Anthony should only love you and not Mischa, who came along 20 years before you did. So, of course, he would love her, if anyone shouldn’t be loved… It is you, Christy.” Debbie voiced, then she swung that Cat.

The pack members were getting to hear it all, and she could see them now whispering to each other about what was going on. Christy had lost their favor six months ago and now here it was all over again. She really had dug a hole for herself this time, and it was likely too deep for her to pull herself out of.

“These last 5 lashes are for the lies you told and thinking you could get away with it, something that you have not learned from your last punishment,” Debbie stated and swung that Cat once more.

Christy frau managed to stay conscious for all 20 lashes this time around, likely knew how it felt, and her wolf could deal with it now, Mischa supposed. She was just sagged there on that shaming post, her back

all bloodied and torn up

She watched Anthony look around at the gathered pack members, and then turn back to Christy and state, “Your 3 days on this shaming post start now I expect you to repent and learn from this. Don’t come crying to me when you get off this shaming post and complain that it was unfair. You admitted what you did, know it was wrong and now have to deal with me, your Mate knowing just what you did and have been doing to destroy my and Mischa’s mate bond.”

Mischa heard many gasps come from the pack members as they understood in full why Christy was out here, and what she was being punished for. If she’d had any friends inside this pack, it was unlikely to stay that way now. Especially if any of them had helped her in any way, they’d all be distancing themselves from her in an effort to not see themselves get punished.

Anthony dismissed the pack members, as Debbie handed that Cat back to Kendrick. “Clean it, but do not put it away. Probably best to keep it in the Alpha’s Office from now on.”

“Yes Debbie,” Kendrick answered, showing full respect to her a pack Elder.

Mischa even understood why Debbie had voiced that very thing. It was to show everyone out there, herself, Anthony, the units, and all the Elders that she believed it was going to be used again, on Christy in the future, and she as an Elder didn’t want to waste time sending someone to the cells to retrieve it when punishment was due to be dished out.

Mischa turned and walked away from the scene before her, returned to her office with her unit and Simone, to finish the hand–over of the week’s appointments to her, that had come to a halt by Anthony and all that had just transpired.

Anthony walked into her office a moment later. “Mischa, you said you had something for myself and Christy,” he commented as he walked across the room.

“Hmm,” she nodded and reached out and picked up the two envelopes. “Dr. Dana Reed is going to start a new study into three–way mate bonds such as what we have, and she–wolves that get abandoned to their heats…” she voiced and saw him frown near instantly. She knew he liked to say it would never happen again. That he probably actually thought he would never do it again either.

“I have signed myself up for it, I am a good candidate for such a study. I, as a Luna Ranked wolf, also feel I should participate in such a thing to help other she–wolves out there in the same situation. It will be much more extensive and inclusive, it will not just be the abandoned she–wolf in this study.”

“Can you not say that please?” Anthony asked.

“Why? It’s the truth, you Anthony, abandoned me to my heat, because Christy asked you to. That is a fact, and it is on full record. So I am simply stating the fact of the matter and nothing more. If you don’t like my phrasing of it… then perhaps you shouldn’t have abandoned me to it in the first place.” She stared at him pointedly.

She was not going to spare his feelings, she’d just told him of the full consequences in his office, and she’d meant every single word of thern. She didn’t think he could bear the consequences of his own actions, now that they were all laid out in full was all. ‘Doesn’t like being reminded of what he did to us,

Laud stated.

‘No,‘ she agreed. ‘He made his bed, now he can lay in it. Asking Christy if she could bear the

consequences, that wasn’t just about her that included Anthony having to as well. The weight is heavy for both of them now.

“As for this study,” Mischa looked right at him. “It will also include the others in the three–way bond as participants. If, of course, they are willing to participate. It’s not mandatory, but it will be noted in the statistics of the study, just what percentage of the affected she–wolf’s Mate and his other Mate that make up the three–way bond, reject participating, and what percentage were willing to be involved.” She told him how it was going to work.
