“Is that what you want, Mischa? I will do it, if that is your as my Luna’s wish,” Anthony told her.

“What?” Christy gasped.

“What’s the point she’s officially living in the Alpha Suite with you… Pregnant with the packs‘ heir. Not something any Alpha should want, considering she’s got traitorous tendencies towards your other Mate.” She stated knowing it would wipe that smile off that bitch’s face in an instant.

“She’s not carrying the heir,” Anthony stated.

“Anthony!” Christy yelled.

Mischa smiled, as she pushed that she–wolfs buttons from hundreds of miles away, that she–wolf knew she wasn’t in the pack and hadn’t returned, had in fact left yesterday. Could well suspect Mischa had in fact left him after that conversation she’d overheard and had gotten everything she wanted.

“I told you, only Mischa’s bloodline will be the heirs to this pack. I meant that if you don’t like it, leave.” He bit out. “After today’s events, do you really want to argue with me?” Anthony grated.

Mischa shook her head. “You, Alpha, only call me when you need something pack related. That you, the Alpha, can’t handle on your own, but know I actually can.

“Christy certainly can’t handle anything that isn’t about her getting something she wants, too selfish to want to help anyone that isn’t herself. She doesn’t even help you in anything at all bar… in that bed you enjoy fucking her in, and to be honest with you, I’m certain she only does that for her own selfish needs

and wants…

“Now, Alpha, let me guess who your pack–related issue is related to… Hmm, if Christy called me herself, and she is there in that office with you now, while you’re now calling me for my help… ” she stated as she ate a mouthful of food. “It must be one hell of an issue…”

“Stop right there. I warned you I would not clean up after your other Mate anymore. If she can make the mess, she can be held accountable for it. Made to clean it up as well.”

“Mischa, please, it’s really important, they will only deal with you now.”

“Oh!” she smiled. “Well now, that explains a lot… All right, I’ll hear it out…”

“Thank you, what I need you to do is…”

“Stop right there.” She cut him off curtly. “Seeing as you’re begging for my help, you are right? Let’s clarify that first, you and Christy are actually desperately in need of me, and my Luna skills correct?” She asked if they needed her, she’d humiliate that bitch first.

“Christy?” Mischa asked and knew that girl wasn’t going to admit she was begging for Mischa’s help.

There was a long wait, and she laughed softly. “Oh, I guess she can fix it on her own if she can’t admit she is wrong, shouldn’t be sitting in that Luna’s office and definitely shouldn’t be offending other packs. And one that will only deal with me… If she can’t admit she needs me to clean up after her, I’m not inclined to help at all.”

“Fine, I fucked up.” Christy bit out.

Mischa rolled her eyes. Even when she needed help from Mischa, she couldn’t force herself to be polite.

“Misch, all I need you to do is…”

“No, I don’t want to hear it from you,” she stated. “If I’m to even listen, there are going to be rules around my considering even helping you. Let me lay them out for you and your Luna. 1, it will not be you that tells me what happened. 2, Christy will tell me which pack is involved, who she personally offended in that pack and what she did to offend that person. In that order and in full, without missing anything, because how else will I know how to fix it?

“But I will not tolerate her attitude, so the rules she needs to listen to and follow are 1. I will hang up if she grates out angry words. 2. I will hang up if she speaks to me in a sarcastic tone. 3. I will hang up if she puts on that sickeningly sweet tone of voice she likes to use around you.

“4. I will hang up if she does not show me the respect I deserve. 5. I will also hang up if she so much as tries to lord herself over me. This will be a conversation from her to me, and I will not tolerate anything from her. 6. If it is as bad as I’m starting to think it may be, then she will apologize to me for creating a situation that could harm the pack. She will then beg for my help, because I did not make this mess, whatever it is, and I should not be expected by her to clean it up. Agreed.” She stated.

“Agreed.” Anthony muttered.

“Then Christy may speak. Let’s see if she can show me one ounce of the respect I deserve. Be polite and ask me properly, for help, be remorseful about her own actions. Or if she just expects me to do it because she can’t, proving I’m a better Luna than she is.” She stated with a full smile, an olive branch in one hand and slap to Christy’s face in the other.

She waited and put Laud’s hearing to the phone call, and she watched both Paul and Carol lean forward as well. She hit the speaker button and put the phone on the table to make it easier. They all actually heard what appeared to be Christy taking deep breaths, and she shook her head. She was trying to pull it together to do as Mischa asked, it seemed.

“It is the Rising Blue Lotus,” Christy stated, and she kept her voice even.

“Oh, I see why you need me, Nick doesn’t believe your apology, does he, Christy?” She stated, interrupting that girl.

Her hearing picked up movement in that office, and she wondered if Anthony had just pointed a warning finger at Christy and shot words down the mind–link to her.

There was another deep breath, “I did not offend Nicholas… Lucinda called and I admittedly offended her.” Christy said.

“Oh, so you offended the pack’s biggest allied pack’s Luna.” She clicked her tongue. “Do you not know how much Nick dotes on Lucinda, that offending her is offending him?” she asked.

“Apparently not.” Christy muttered.

“That is boarding on a tone don’t like, Christy. Should I hang up?” Mischa asked.

There was 20 seconds of silence. “No, she spoke one word calmly. “That was aimed at myself, not you… Luna Mischa.”

“Go on, Christy,” she stated with a smile. She knew that she–wolf had to hate using her full title, but when showing respect and asking for help, one had to do things they didn’t like, or they shouldn’t screw up in the first place.

“I did not invite the Rising Blue Lotus to the upcoming mating ball, apparently there is an issue with my not doing that. That I didn’t know about.” She informed Mischa.

“Oh, I see. So you severed this pack’s ties with Alpha Nicholas is what you’re actually saying, and he won’t reinstate the alliance.”

“I did know that would happen.” Christy huffed. “I was… wrong, and I need your help to fix it… Luna Mischa.”

“I enjoy you lying to me, Christy, because you did know that would happen. I was the one that told you when training you on how and who to invite to mating balls. Stressed the importance of that very thing to you, and that lie it breached the rules I laid out for you just now.”

“I didn’t bloody lie,” Christy snapped. “I freaking forgot is all.”

Mischa laughed even as she heard Anthony yell about not hanging up. She reached out and hit the end call button. Then shook her head.

She waited, knew there was another call coming. Once Anthony calmed himself down. Christy just had to be polite and respectful, and she couldn’t do it for more than a few minutes. The moment she was accused or shown to be in the wrong, she returned to that selfish narcissistic person she was and tried to shove the blame away from herself.

That call didn’t come until after she was back in her suite almost three hours later, and she had a feeling she knew why. He’d either needed that time to calm down or, he’d been ranting at Christy about what she’d done to create this mess and that she couldn’t even hold her tongue for one conversation.

Both actually showed she wasn’t Luna material. She looked at her phone and sighed. This would be the last time there would be no more after this. She hit the answer button, “Yes, Alpha.” She addressed him.

“Mischa, please don’t hang up… and please use my name. I am your Mate.” He sighed.

“That’s debatable now, isn’t it?” She answered simply.

“I apologize for Christy’s outburst. She was in the wrong, there is no doubt in my mind that she was wrong in speaking with Luna Lucinda, as well as yourself. I’m sorry she spoke to you that way,” he stated almost gently.

“She’s not,” Mischa stated. “I know this because you’re calling me not her.”

“You blocked her.” He muttered.

“Like that could stop her from calling me, she could use the phone in the Luna’s office, your office. Ask to use your phone or one of her or your unit’s phones, so… did she do that, and they all refused to allow it? Did you refuse to allow it?”

She heard him sigh heavily, “Don’t lie for her, that just enables her bad behavior like it did a year ago and allowed her to become so very bold, knowing you’ll always have her back regardless of what she does. Look at what that has led to.

“Her being the only seated Luna, and what was the first thing she did after sitting in that office? She offends your strongest ally, in war and business. That shows how very entitled she is, believes there will be no consequences because you’ll forgive her. She’s what? Young and still insecure and didn’t know how to handle another Luna.

“That is bullshit. She simply did not put the pack first. I’ve had time to speak with Nick and Lucinda. What she did was put her own selfish needs or wants first. We all know she doesn’t like Nick, so I guess the question you have to ask yourself is… did she do this on purpose or not? To get rid of him.

“Just like you know, she wants to get rid of me, like she dismissed Paul and offended all the Gamma’s… wow, when you put it like that, she really doesn’t put the pack first now does she.”
