She’d woken up restless from a weird dream where Laud had been chained up inside a cage and unable escape, and that had set off her wolf’s need to be out of her and roaming the woods freely She’d not objected it hadn’t been a nice feeling in that dream.

So, one last run before no more shifting, she’d removed her bangle and placed it on the bedside table as she had done for the pack run. It was late, and she’d not really seen many other wolves out and about. It was a weeknight and most had jobs in the human world or children to look after, and so they were in thei homes late at night.

It was three days before her heat was due, so she was safe not to wear her bangle for a few hours, and le Laud roam the woods of the forest before they locked themselves away in their suite, until after their hea came and the first bout passed and activated with the second bout to stop the heat.

Now as they padded about, she felt it, the first stirrings of her heat coming on within her own wolf,” Packhouse now‘ She shot right to Laud, they couldn’t be out in the open when it bloomed. But she didn’t know if they were going to make it, they were deep in the woods.

Laud raced them back at full wolfen speed, and they shifted by the set of omega stairs. It was at the opposite end of the building to her suite, but she wasn’t going to make it to the other end of the building. and she knew it. She kind of stumbled and staggered about after her shift and stepped for door. She yanked it open and stepped inside and closed it behind her. She gasped as her heat bloomed right there in this stairwell just seconds after the door closed.

She looked up as her hand moved to her lower abdomen. It was a pain she could deal with. The first bout wasn’t so bad. The problem was, she had no way to mind–link anyone inside this pack to let them know what was going on, to have those doors that could be opened to this very stairwell guarded so no unmated wolves would come in here and smell her heat.

That there was no way for her to get from this stairwell, even once she reached the top floor, all the way down to the other end of the building without knowing if anyone was going to open a door and scent her heat, though only one wolf up there was unmated; Alpha Declan. She was going to have to risk it and she knew it.

She made her way up to the first floor. It was the early hours of the morning, before dawn, and she was hoping everyone was still asleep, which would see her dash to her room be a quick safe trip.

She was just on the first–floor landing when the door down below opened, and she heard her name be spoken in a questioning manner She knew it as Alpha Declan, recognized his scent, he’d obviously seen her outside, likely stumbling about and probably thought something was wrong with her, and had come in here to ask her if she was alright.

Her head whipped around as she kind of stopped walking, as that need to mate hit her, a male wolf was right before her and just the sight of him increased the need for her to be mated. She landed eyes on him he was completely naked himself, which meant he’d been out there in the pack in wolfen form

His eyes were now locked on hers as he breathed in the scent of her heat, just a single second after he’d stated her name, and then she heard a low grow! come from him and his beast, as they succumbed to it. Then he was on the move a second later, racing up the stairs towards her.

She barely got two steps away from him before his body was up against hers, and she gasped as his primal instincts took over and pulled her around to face him, and his mouth crashed down on to hers even as he was picking her up and she knew he was going to mate her, it was inevitable, her body wanted it as much as his did, and she moved against his and gasped as she felt him all hard and hot sliding against her only to have his hand grip her hip and then take her for himself in a hard thrust.

She gasped at the sheer size of him, but then, was moving with him a moment later, as he took her all hard and eager up against that wall, his mouth was on hers and his hands were all over her body, as she itched to be closer to the one mating her. Tried to rub herself all over him and took pleasure from him and his sating of her bout of heat.

He was growling and snarling, and at one point he kind of yanked himself from her, and she struck out at him for stopping, and then launched herself at him and tried to shove him down to the ground. He was too big and strong for her to do so, but he kind of stumbled backwards, and she hooked his ankle with her foot and down he went.

She climbed right on top of him as she snarled at him, in her impatience to have what her body craved, a hand on his hip and the other on his chest, as she tried to hold him still, as she took him for herself and rode him furiously, as that bout continued.

She found herself underneath him sometime later, his mouth on hers once more as he pulled her leg up to curl around his waist and continued to mate her, long, hard firm strokes as his eyes kind of closed and a groan of pleasure came from him. Her body ached to be mated harder and faster, and she hit him. “Harder. “She cried.

His eyes locked onto hers as she struggled underneath him to pick up the pace, and he pulled himself from her and yanked her over and pulled her up onto all fours so he could take her from behind. She was pushing back against him wantonly as she tried to sate her own bout of heat.

She felt one of his hands slid up her abdomen and to cup her breast, as the other slid around the curve of her hip to touch her intimately, and she gasped as pleasure rolled through her body, and she knew she was cumming, could feel the orgasm building within her and the word “More.” Came from her and his hand slipped from her breast around to the back and up over her shoulder, and he gripped on to her tightly and picked up the pace and really start to take her, and she knew he was giving her everything he had all his Alpha strength behind those thrusts, and she finally tipped over the edge of that orgasm and cried out as it washed over her.

Only he didn’t stop, because her bout wasn’t over, she could hear her own cries of pleasure echoing off the walls in the stairwell and just let go of everything, stopped thinking and got lost in the bout of heat until it was over. Where she found herself pressed up against that wall with Alpha Declan’s body pressed up against her, both their breathing was ragged and heavy. “I’m sorry,” he told her when he caught his breath. I didn’t realize what was happing… when I followed you in here.”

“Not your fault,” she answered and tried to push him a little away from her. So he could put her down on the ground, was she knew holding her to himself. Her back pressed to the wall. She didn’t even recall being picked up from the ground, they’d been all over the place as her heat had consumed both of them

“Best you not do that, it could hurt us both.” He murmured and sighed a little on the heavy side.

She bit her lip as she realized what that meant, and as she focused upon her own body, yes, not only were her legs wrapped around him, she could now feel that Alpha Decian was knotted to her, she’d not realized it when lost in the moment of her bout of heat.

That bout had likely ended with him knotting her, and now they were kind of just stuck to each other here in the stairwell where anyone could come in and see them.

“Again, I’m sorry.” He–sighed. “I couldn’t not…” he trailed off as he looked down at her. He knew she understood what he’d been about to say, “I’ve never been with anyone in heat before.” He told her by way of explanation.

She actually understood that; wolves only got to have that from their Mate’s going into heat or, in situations like this, when they came across a mated she–wolf and her heat bloomed right next to them, it was unavoidable. She also wouldn’t be surprised if his beast had participated in all that had just gone on as well. It was a simple primal response to the scent of one’s heat and nothing more.

“Understandable Alpha,” she murmured.

A half–amused snort came from him. “Hmm, I think we’re past formalities right now, Mish.” He stated and shortened her name as if making his point.

“I dare say so.” She nodded as something else occurred to her. Not only was this Alpha knotted to her, but Laud was all splayed out inside of her mind, sated and settled didn’t even care that a wolf that wasn’t mated to her, was knotted to them right this minute.

She could see him looking at her curiously. “Why isn’t your wolf ticked off right now?” he asked. “I’m not getting anything, and well.” He looked down for a moment and then back to her. “Shouldn’t she be.”

Misha shrugged. “She’s sated and,” she snorted a little herself. “All splayed out inside my mind, unconcerned at all about this very thing.”

“That says a lot,” he mused.

“Hmm, we don’t consider ourselves mated, even though we are… Oh!” she looked down now at them joined together. “That’s going to be felt by him.”

“Hmm, all of it, not just the knotting,” Declan agreed. “Couldn’t be helped, I did not know you were in heat. Wild saw you shift and stumble about. It kind of looked like you were injured and we, of course, couldn’t connect to you, so shifted to come and check on you.”

“Yeah, I figured as much.” She nodded.

His eyes were on hers for a long time, and she raised an eyebrow at him, wondering what he was thinking. “We’ve got a bigger problem than this. This will resolve itself when it’s good and ready,” he murmured” Moving you to your room, it’s at the other end of the building.”

“Hmm, it won’t be so bad. My bouts are short and there are now hours between them,” she told him as his knot finally released, and he stepped back one step and slipped from her body, and lowered her to the floor. Her knees kind of buckled, and he reached out and steadied her.

“Thank you.” He chuckled softly. “That’s a hell of a complement.”
