The Ramifications
She knew Christy would, on one hand, relish knowing that Mischa was personally going to lash Anthony, because she knew it wasn’t something one should do; harm their own Mate. Christy had already gotten Anthony to do that, and now she was getting Mischa to harm him in return. That would actively work in Christy’s favor, by driving an emotional wedge between them and widening the gap that Christy had already created between them.
But on the other hand, now Christy knew that if she asked him to take on her own punishment when she’d just heard what that meant for him. That he had already taken on five of her lastres and pleaded for her. That would be seen as Christy actively wanting him to take more lashes dealt out at Mischa’s hand.
That was something that could then drive a wedge between Christy and Anthony, seen now by Anthony that Christy might even be doing it on purpose, after what had just gone down between the three of them. That Christy was showing no mercy towards not only Anthony but Mischa as well, because she knew no Mate should ever be made to harm their Mate by another either.
Whereas Mischa had already shown she could be merciful, and wasn’t out to directly ruin Christy and Anthony’s bond, by not forcing them to reject each other, not having her branded as a traitor and forever banished from the pack. Something that was well within her rights to do; Christy had just found out.
“I wasn’t going to ask him to do that, Mischa, I, well… could be pregnant is all.” she sighed now. “And I only thought to ask to have the punishment delayed until we know if I am or not. Nothing more… A lashing for me right now…” she murmured. “After all I have suffered, could destroy the heir I’m possibly carrying.”
Christy looked at Anthony now with an imploring look.
“Then that would simply be the will of the Goddess,” Anthony stated flatly. “Take her to the cells.” He
motioned for the two holding onto her to take her away.
“What? Why do I have to go to the cell?” Christy gasped and struggled against those holding her.
“You won’t be going alone,” Anthony commented. “It’s where an wolves go while waiting to be punished in this pack. Regardless of rank. So, you and I will both be going there,” he told her. “You’re going in another’s
hands because you already ran from knowing your punishment, so now you won’t know until tomorrow, in
front of the entire pack, what it will be. That’s on you.” Anthony stated as he fell into step with those
hauling Christ away.
He walked freely of his own accord because he had to accept the punishment if he wanted to keep that leniency in place for Christy and also keep Mischa here as his Luna. He had no choice right now but to go there and wait for his punishment, as he’d stated, like all wolves in this pack did, regardless of rank.
Mischa turned and walked back inside the packhouse. “I’ll mind–link to the entire pack, inform them that a full formal punishment has to be dished out, and they are all expected to be in attendance and bear
witness to it.” Elder Allen stated.
“Thank you.” Mischa nodded. There was nothing more to say on the matter. She turned and headed for her

suite. She had a study up there and could work from it as she pleased. She would likely just work from it from now on if she wasn’t required to be in the Luna’s office for official meetings.
She mind–linked to Debbie, Would you please take over Christy’s Luna Training in full, when her punishment is over?‘
‘Of course, Mischa, best it’s done by another now see, Debbie commented.
‘She’s easily distracted, but I think that’s solely because she wants to be. So in your office up there on the first floor would be good, you can sort her hours out.’
‘Hours out? That she–wolf is about to spend five days a week in my office and there will be no dodging any. My door will be closed, and she’ll not see Anthony during working hours bar lunch, if he’s in the pack, that
‘That is entirely up to you,’ Mischa stated, ‘Though I’d sit her down and test her knowledge beforehand.’
‘I will, and then I’ll report her lack of Luna knowledge directly to the Alpha, two years, and she still doesn’t know the pack basics. That’s not for lack of being taught, it just shows a lack of wanting to learn.
‘That she expected you to do all the little things, and she only the big noticeable things. I understand she can do Luna Blessings and set up Mating Balls, and use that Luna Calm. I’m guessing that’s all she can really do.
‘Makes her look like she can be the Luna, but actually only does the bare minimum. That you’re attending
to everything else which goes mostly unnoticed by the Alpha himself. Only the pack actually sees the
effort you put in.’ Debbie sighed, ‘I’ll sort her out and if she still refuses to learn, I’ll deal with her, Luna to
Luna, and again, she’ll be in a formal meeting with the Elders.‘
‘Again, up to you, I wash my hands of dealing with her after this. Mischa stated, ‘Anthony can deal with it,
if he doesn’t understand why, that’s just him turning a blind eye once more.
‘Agreed.‘ Debbie commented, and the link dissolved.
She spent the rest of the afternoon documenting in her Luria’s Diary, and her personal diary. She also updated both Anthony and Christy’s pack files with the details of all that had happened and linked it all together with all that she’d documented so far so it was able to be opened and read as one file from start
to finish.
It was her duty as the reigning Luna to document everything officially and attach the footage of that meeting to the file for all to see how it went, and that it correlated with her report. She made notes of all the Elders that had spoken and were expected to add their own reports into that document.
She also left the final passing of judgment and punishment to be dealt out, to be documented by the Elders; as was the pack law. Then she mind–linked to Paul ‘I think you need to add in to the file what you got from Christy while in that meeting. Title it The Gamma’s perspective, and change its color so it stands
out please!
‘I will be. I know it’s required of me, and I was switched on for that entire meeting. Didn’t just get Christy,

but the Elder Lunas and yourself. I’m working on it. I will speak with the Elders themselves and see if they want their feelings added or not They are Luna’s and are likely to document how they feel themselves in their reports. I will have to document your feelings as well as Christy’s, Mischa, he stated.
‘Go ahead, Paul. Let Anthony read it when he comes off that shaming post, just how he made me feel in that room. Even that I expected nothing less of him than to try and revoke Christy’s punishment. I know you got that, because I saw it coming long before that meeting was even held.‘ She murmured and she
had.
‘I don’t expect things to change from this, Paul, regardless of what he says.‘ She sighed and leaned back in her chair. ‘In fact, I expect things to not only stay the same, but to continue… to see again what happened, to set this event into motion. She told him her honest opinion on the matter.
‘What exactly do you mean?‘ he asked now, sounding a bit puzzled
‘I’ll send you some private reading materials, and you’ll understand what I think is going on… I didn’t reject
him for a reason, and I’m not leaving because I want to prove I’m right and…‘ she smiled just a little to herself. ‘To see just how stupid that she–wolf really is. She doesn’t study all the things she should as a Luna. And so she doesn’t have all the knowledge.
‘She skims everything and takes what she wants from it, to suit her own purpose, only truly learning things
that she can be seen doing by Anthony as a good Luna. She doesn’t really look into the consequences or
ramifications of anything, not even her own actions.
‘Point of fact, that is how this came about. As far as I’m concerned. She didn’t do the full research and
didn’t realize what was going to come from her own actions. So, I’m going to sit back for as long as it
takes and watch all those things. I have a feeling will come about, do so.’
‘Which will be?‘ Paul asked curiously.
‘Christy’s next heat… will it or won’t it happen… if it does, then well… It’ll be expected that she will now have two heats a year and only three months apart at that. Yes?‘ she asked his opinion on the matter.
‘Oh, I see where you’re going and, yes, it would. Because 90% of heats always come at the same time. Like yours always in early November and early May… he sighed, ‘That could be bad for you, you know that right, because it’ll mean you’ll both go into heat at the same time each year.‘
‘Hmm and who will he tend to? He just promised he’d never leave my heat unattended to, ever again. So will he leave Christy’s unattended?‘
‘This is a bloody mess.‘ Paul muttered.
‘It’s not really. Read the material I’ll e–mail over to you. It’s for your eyes only, and you’ll understand what I’m thinking in full. There will be no telling Anthony what you learn, and not Christy either. No one do you understand, so I can see what really happened.’
‘Yes, Luna.‘ He answered her formally.
She was now solely in charge of the pack until Anthony came off the shaming post. Her word had always

been taken as Anthony’s had been, because she was of equal standing to him for 22 years, she was well liked and well respected not only inside this pack but out of it as well.
All their allied packs knew she was more than capable of standing in for Anthony, and when it came to monetary dealings, she actually was the better one to broker them, because she was the lead accountant in this pack and understood all there was to money, interests owed, shares and dividends, taxes.
She was in all those meetings via Skype and Anthony really didn’t need to be in them at all if he didn’t want to be. He was, but left that part of all contracts to her to sort out. She was good at that, and he knew it and relied upon it as well. Had once gotten all hot and bothered by her wheeling and dealing with allied Alphas.
Holding her own had turned him on, not so much anymore, because he had a newer, younger thing to play with, and it was all done via Skype not in person like it once had. Or that was her take on how it went anyway.
