Anthony walked into her office the following day carrying a large bouquet of flowers and stood before her desk. She stared up at him as if to say what, and he sighed heavily at her reaction to seeing him in her office with flowers. Understood she didn’t care for it.

“I’m sorry Mischa, it does appear you are correct. Christy has issues with you and I spending time alone together, and I am now seeing the truth, she is trying to get between us,” he

stated, as if that was news to him or her.

She just nodded. “I’m aware, have been for a very long time.” Was all she said to this, his

so–called revelation.

She watched him place those flowers on her desk. “I will see that it doesn’t happen again,” he

told her.

“Hmm, for the next eight weeks, I’m certain you will,” she murmured.

Again he sighed heavily, “No, I will see it doesn’t ever happen again, and to prove this to you, I have spent the night removing all of Christy’s belongings from the Alpha Suite, returning everything of hers to the Luna Suite as they should be. I didn’t realize so much of her stuff had encroached into your and my suite.”

She shook her head, “I guess only your stuff is in there now, nothing of mine has been in there for what?… 10 months.” she shrugged.

He said nothing about that, but stated, “I’m also having the Alpha Suite deep cleaned today. You’ll find nothing of hers in there, or even the scent of her inside the Alpha Suite. I’d like you

to return to it, for it to become our suite once more.”

“Oh, so you recall now, it was once our suite, do you? That you let Christy move into it as well as retaining the Luna Suite.” She shook her head. “It’s not our suite, Anthony, you allowed Christy to move into it long ago, it’s now your and her suite. As she wants it to be, just like she also wants the Luna Suite to be hers, which places me where exactly… Hmm, no where.”

She stated.

“As for me moving into your suite once more,” she leaned back in her chair. “You would like that, would you?… until when will I reside in there… until Christy is released and walks herself back into that suite you two share. No, thank you.” She shook her head.

“I will change the lock as well,” he told her, as if that would make all the difference.

“Good for you. I’m certain she’ll only have to pout to get you to give it to her… or have you walk her in there yourself.” She stated simply, it’s what she’d done to worm her way in there in

the first place.

“I will not, it’s our suite, not hers and mine, and it will remain that way,” Anthony told her firmly.

“Hmm, wasn’t that originally how it was supposed to be anyway? You didn’t keep that promise to me either now, did you?” she stated, allowing him to see she didn’t believe him, that there was no trust between them at all anymore.

He was just staring at her now, as he was coming to the realization, she thought, of all the things he’d let Christy do and get away with that were also insulting to Mischa, and he’d either not noticed, brushed it off or ignored it completely.

“As for the deep clean…” she mused. “Just out of curiosity, do you actually expect me to sleep in the same bed you and Christy fuck in all the time? Which I believe was originally my bed. Have you two gone about and had sex all over that suite, on all the furniture, in all the rooms that you and I once picked out? Have you allowed her to put her stamp on everything to prove a point to me, that everything that once was mine and yours, is now hers and yours?

”

He stood there thinking about her words, likely now thinking about all the places they’d had sex inside the suite that should be his and hers. She was damned certain it was on every bit of furniture in all the rooms. Just so Anthony wouldn’t recall any memories of herself and him doing that in that suite, effectively removing all memories of her and him for him to recall when he walked about in there.

“I left that suite long ago. When you let Christy put her personal seal on our bed. Even though she has a suite of her own for you two to go and fuck in. You effectively gave her our suite. So I’ll not be going back to it. You might as well just move her into it officially.

“After all, that is what she really wants. Just go ahead and give it to her. I no longer care, Anthony, what you do with her, or where you do it either. As long as it’s not in my suite. But that was always my one and only stance now, wasn’t it… two separate Mates, so two

separate suites.

“I’ve never been inside the Luna Suite, not once since Christy became your second Mate. I have no inclination to invade her and your personal space. Respected that boundary always. Unlike her, wanting not only to go into the Alpha suite we once shared, but now also into the suite I moved into after I left the Alpha Suite.

“That is a selfish Christy thing to do, which you allow her to do, and take her into personally don’t you. Both suites, you personally took her into a place you knew wasn’t for her.” She shook her head.

He sighed heavily this time because he couldn’t even argue with her about it, he’d been the one to do that, and all because Christy wanted it. “I’ll buy all new furniture.” He offered, “Lay new carpet or flooring, for both the Alpha Suite and the suite you’re in now.”

“That is just a waste of pack funds,” she stated.

“Then what is it you want me to do, Mischa?” he asked and there was a slight annoyance in his voice.

“Nothing,” she answered simply. “Go on about your life as you have been and don’t concern yourself with me or how I feel now, like you’ve not done for 11 solid months.”

“Mischa, we need to fix our mate bond,” he muttered, then took a breath in “I’m aware I was the one that has allowed it to become so very broken. I can see that now, and I want to work on that, and bring us back together, to be how we once were,” he told her more gently.

“Mm, do you, why? So, when you start pulling away from me once again, I will have to feel the tearing of our bond apart all over again,” she shook her head, no. “Once Christy’s punishment is over, and you go back to spending time with only her… Honestly, Anthony, I’m not interested in feeling that all over again. No, thank you.”

“Please Mischa, I will be better.” He sighed.

She, however, didn’t believe it, his word was no good. Or not when it came to her and Christy anyway. “You, Anthony, just don’t like sleeping alone, and now have to because Christy can’t be in your bed. Something I’ve been doing for nearly a year now, or have you not realized it? That you only come to my room on the odd occasion for what,

“Hmm… a quick fuck, to what, I’m going to say, as being seen as still fulfilling your duties where I’m concerned. Then you get up and go back to Christy’s bed to sleep.”

His eyes were quite wide at her course words of how she saw what they now had, an obligation was all she saw their bond as, and nothing more. “Why do you look so surprised, I’ve stated this to you before? When I was in heat, point of fact… just like I asked you in there what you would do if both Christy and I went into heat at the same time.” She shook her head. “Well, now we all know, don’t we. You’ll stay with her and abandon me.

“The entire pack now understands your personal preference and which of your two Lunas you prefer. So… you can sleep alone until the one you love and dote on returns to you. I’m not just something you can use when she’s not around and discards when she comes back.

“You proved beyond a doubt last night that nothing has actually changed, that this,” she waved a hand at the flowers. “Is just a pretense, that Christy is still the most important person to you. I promised I wouldn’t reject you. So, I am still here. But I am now indifferent to what was once our very loving and happy mate bond.

“You caused that all by yourself with your own actions. You are the one that promised to spend equal time between us from the very beginning, and then you were the one that broke that promise, not me.

“Have I ever declined your company? Even as broken and neglected as I felt, did I stop you from coming to my room once in a blue moon when you decided you should pay attention to me? No, I waited patiently for you all that time.

“I’m simply done waiting for you, done being patient with you. I’m done with coming behind your other Mate at every moment of every day and night. I will not believe your true intentions are to bring us back together at all, until I see you do that after Christy’s punishment is over, and you have to actually make a choice in who you spend your time with.

“Me or her. Equally or more one–sided, in her favor. I want nothing but equality just to let you know I’m not looking for you to spend more or extra time with me. Just what you once promised me is all and what Christy also agreed to as well.

“I’m also not looking to have you force yourself to spend time with me, because she’s in the cells, and so I’m the only one available for you to sate your needs in. So please go away until there comes the time when you can actively prove you want to spend time with me. By not spending all your time with her,

“Going to her every time she links you or wants you to go and spend time with her even though you’re with me. Only by your denying her your attention when you’re supposed to be with me, and by that, I mean simply telling her no and sticking to it, when she interrupts us talking or having dinner.

“Certainly not getting up and leaving me to go to her when she calls you back to her bed, because you’re in mine. And she what, can’t sleep alone, but thinks it’s acceptable that I should, and you agree with her. Is that clear enough for you to understand my position on the stance I am making here and now?

“After all, I suffered at your and her hands. What it is I expect of you now, Anthony. If we are to even try to regrow, what is our very broken mate bond.” she asked him.

“Yes,” he murmured. “Will you move back into the Alpha Suite when I do this?” he asked.

“No, like I said, just move Christy in there officially. I’ll never be with you inside that suite again. I will never be with you in any suite of mine that you take her into against my wishes.”
