This time, she didn’t dare flirt with Stefan.

“Good.” Stefan turned to Korbin. “Send a couple of your guys to pick someone up for me.”
“Okay. Just give me the address and number.” Korbin nodded.
Stefan nodded. He planned to bring Eliza over and let her see that bastard Bob with her own
eyes.
He pulled out his phone and texted Eliza. He told her Bob was safe and that he was sending people to bring her over.
Zora moved fast. Within minutes, she transferred the full six hundred million dollars into the account Stefan provided.
Damian forced himself to smile through the pain. “Mr. Bryant, I couldn’t see clearly before. I was blind. This kind of thing won’t happen again. Please, just let it slide this once…”
But beneath the surface, hatred burned in his eyes.
He wanted to tear Stefan apart piece by piece. But for now, he had to swallow his pride. Once he survived this, he’d get his revenge.
Damian was a branch leader in the Aether Spire Society, the biggest underground organization in Marevia. And his uncle was one of River City’s four Great Grandmasters. There was no way he’d let this slide.
Stefan ignored him completely. He walked over to Bob, who was shaking, pale as a ghost. “You sober now?”
“I…” Bob’s throat moved, but no words came out.
Stefan said, “You still dreaming of turning the tables? With what? You can’t win. Even if you did, you wouldn’t live to take the money.”
His voice turned cold. He gestured at the room. “Take a good look around. These people kill without blinking. They had guns out in the open. Say you’d actually won-you think you’d have walked out of here alive?”
Bob collapsed onto the floor.
Fear and regret twisted his face. He closed his eyes and kept muttering, “I was wrong.
I know I

was wrong…”
Stefan turned back to Damian. “You said this wouldn’t happen again?”
“Yes, yes. Never again.” Damian nodded frantically.
If his arms hadn’t been broken, he would have raised his hands to take the oath.
Stefan let out a cold laugh. “Really? You set Bob up. How many others have you done this to? People with no connections, no power? You lure them in step by step, let the debt pile up, and then you own them. How many families have you destroyed over the years? How many people ended up like Bob?”
Damian’s face went blank. His throat moved, but he couldn’t find words.
Truth was, Stefan had no intention of letting Damian off easy.
But killing him or silencing everyone in the room wouldn’t achieve what he wanted.
What he wanted was to shut this place down and wipe it out for good. So no more families would get dragged into the same nightmare.
Without Stefan stepping in, Bob’s family would’ve been finished, plain and simple.
Korbin’s phone buzzed. He glanced at it. “My guys are here.”
Stefan nodded.
Korbin walked out and returned with Ava and Eliza.
The two women froze at the sight of the underground casino littered with bodies and blood, their faces turning pale.
Eliza spotted Stefan. “Stefan?”
She hurried over, then stopped when she saw Bob on the floor.
“Dad… you actually came.” Her voice cracked with disappointment. She turned to Stefan. “What happened tonight?”
