They exchanged a few quick words. After that, Stefan said goodbye to Nina and headed back to the Stewart Mansion.

Stefan could tell something was off as soon as he returned to the Stewart Mansion.
A butler told him the whole Stewart family was gathered for a meeting in Hidden Dragon Hall.
They must be talking about the bidding.
The Stewart family probably won the deal with the Reed family. Mr. Micah Stewart would definitely call everyone for this.
Stefan didn’t go to the hall. Technically, he and Sara weren’t married yet he wasn’t really part of the Stewart family.
He planned to check the artificial lake to see if the Gathering Formation was ready.
Once it was, he’d take the Gathering Pearl for himself.
He was already at the mansion–he had the perfect advantage.
Just then, Silas Cole, the old butler, hurried over. He saw Stefan and called out, “Mr. Micah Stewart heard you’re back. He wants you in the meeting hall.”
“Huh?” Stefan blinked. “Mr. Micah Stewart wants me?”
“Yes.” Silas nodded.
“Fine.” Stefan shrugged and followed Silas to the hall.
Hidden Dragon Hall was packed with the Stewart family.
Micah looked flushed and excited, a wide smile on his face.
The rest were in vastly different moods.
Hewitt and his family were cheering and bragging. They claimed the Reed family deal was all their doing.

Chapter 199 Had the Perfect Advantage
Frazier and Philip stayed quiet.
Chuck’s face was dark with frustration; he was clearly bitter.
Sara sat still and calm, quiet and distant.
Stefan walked in, and every eye turned to him.

“Well, look who’s back–the Reed family’s special guest!” Hank crowed, smug and mocking. “I thought the Reed family sent someone to pick you up? You never showed up at the event! You must’ve run back to leech off the Stewart family now that we won the Reed family contract.”
Hewitt and his family snickered, staring at Stefan with contempt.
Stefan stayed calm. He glanced at Hank and said, “Surprising–you’re not completely stupid today. You’re right. The Reed family did send someone for me. So I guess I am their guest.”
Hewitt and his family burst out laughing. They stared at Stefan like he was clueless. Couldn’t he tell Hank was being sarcastic?
Zoey shook her head, looking down at Stefan. “Stefan, you’re such a liar. Anyone who didn’t know you would fall for it. Did you learn to act like that in prison?”
Stefan glanced at her, his eyes narrowing with a playful smirk. “Zoey, I’d bet you’re just having bad menstrual cramps. It’s still hurting, isn’t it? You should go take your medicine and rest, not stand here talking.”
“You-” Zoey’s face burned with embarrassment. She pointed at Stefan but couldn’t say a word.
Because last night, she’d suffered terrible menstrual cramps. Even the imported painkillers no longer worked, leaving her in agony.
How did he know I had terrible menstrual cramps last night? How?
Did he spy on me?
No way he couldn’t get into the South Compound Villa.
So… he must actually know medicine.
