The Lewis family had access to even more formidable fighters. With a single phone call from Logan, they would have arrived immediately.
Yet, he did not make that call. His gaze shifted to Nina. "You're right. The rules of Drizzlewood Retreat are absolute. Anyone who causes trouble here faces the consequences. I'll let the owner handle this. Once I have his approval, I'll take you all down. It will only be a matter of time."
"Fine. Call Ethan Reed, then," Nina replied coolly.
"You know the owner of Drizzlewood Retreat is Ethan?" Logan was taken aback, his eyes scrutinizing Nina with newfound curiosity.
Nina responded with a cold, dismissive smirk, offering no further explanation.
Drizzlewood Retreat was, in fact, part of the Reed family's extensive hospitality empire, with luxury establishments in major cities across Marevia.
The owner of the River City branch, Ethan Reed, belonged to a collateral branch of the prestigious family.
Barry interjected hastily, stepping forward, "Mr. Logan Lewis, I've already contacted the owner's secretary. She will inform him as soon as he's available." He added with a dismissive sneer, "What possible connections could these women have, keeping company with some ex-con trash?"
Lacking the authority to reach Ethan directly, Barry had only managed to speak with his assistant.
Logan nodded, the logic seeming sound. "No need for that. I have Mr. Reed's direct number. I'll call him myself."
He retrieved his phone and placed the call.
Moments later, he hung up, a cold smile spreading across his face. "Mr. Reed is already on his way to the Retreat. He'll be here shortly. Once I have his authorization, you're finished."
Although Ethan was from a collateral branch of the Reed family, Logan treated him with utmost respect.
It was through Ethan's connections that the Lewis family had first established ties with the Reed family in Mound City.
Moreover, fully aware that Drizzlewood Retreat was Reed property, Logan knew he needed Ethan's explicit blessing before summoning his family's elite enforcers to deal with Stefan and his group.
"Just wait, Stefan. You'll be begging for mercy soon enough," Aaron taunted, his voice dripping with arrogant triumph.
Nick, still propped up by the two social media influencers, glared with smoldering rage. "And those two women... they won't get away either!"
"Don't worry, Nick. They won't. Once my father is involved, even Mr. Reed will show him due respect," Aaron declared with absolute confidence.
In their minds, Stefan and his companions were already trapped, with no conceivable escape.
