Isla slowly passed her phone to Gabriel, her fingers still trembling slightly. She did not trust her voice yet. Her heart was beating too fast, her chest rising and falling as if she had just run a long distance.
Gabriel took the phone from her and leaned back in his seat. His eyes scanned the email. He repeated the process.
His brows lifted slowly, and a small smile appeared on his lips. By the time he finished reading, his expression had completely softened.
“Well,” he said gently, handing the phone back to her,” congratulations, my love.”
Isla blinked, still stunned.
‘I think it was time we finally had that launch,” Gabriel continued. “Ten new investors, Isla. That is not small. That is huge. You really did it.”
Isla swallowed hard.
It was not just the number of investors that shocked her.
No. isla had seen powerful numbers while working with the Wyndham family. So, that was not the point.
But this was different. This was hers, and this was her company. Her dream. The one she started with nothing but courage and sleepless nights. The company was still young, still finding its feet. They had not even officially launched their first luxury pieces yet.And now-investors were atready lining up?
Her eyes burned slightly as emotions flooded her chest.
“I don’t understand,” she whispered. “We haven’t even launched properly. We are still preparing.”
Gabriel chuckled softly. “Sometimes, people see the future before it fully arrives.”
He scrolled through the email again, his expression changing slightly.
Then he paused.
“Wait..” he said slowly.
“What?” Isla asked, her voice tense.
Gabriel smiled, but this time there was clear surprise in his eyes. “I can’t believe some of these names.”
Isla frowned. “Why?”
“Because they are our good friends.”
He paused again, then laughed quietly. “Two of them actually.”
Isla’s mouth fell open.
“our… friends?”
“Yes,” he nodded. “People who do not invest unless they see something solid. Something powerful.”Isla leaned back against the seat, suddenly feeling overwhelmed. Her hand rested on her growing beily as she let out a slow breath.
“So… this is really happening,” she murmured.
“It is,” Gabriel confirmed warmly.
She turned to look at him. “Do you remember the building your grandfather gave me?”
Gabriel nodded immediately. “Of course I do.”
“I was thinking,” she continued carefully, “maybe it is time I finally use it. Turn it into the company headquarters.”
Gabriel did not even hesitate.
“I think that is the best idea you have had today,” he said.”
You need more space now, Isla. More structure. And that building is perfect for what your company is becoming.”
She smiled, a real smile this time. One filled with pride and quiet confidence.
And now, isla truly felt like she was stepping into her own power.

Stephanie Jeremy sat upright at the long polished table, her back straight and her expression calm. Her eyes were sharp, observant, missing nothing. Beside her sat Stone, equally focused, his hands folded in front of him.Stephanie Jeremy was not just anyone.
She had once been Anna Wyndham’s personal assistant, back when Anna still carried the name with pride. Yet, despite working so closely with Anna, Stephanie’s loyalty had never shifted.
She was loyal to Alfred Wyndham.
Until the very day he died.
That loyalty never changed.
Stone had always admired her from a distance. He respected her discipline, her intelligence, and her quiet strength. But life had never slowed down enough for deeper thoughts. Work always came first.
Now, here they were. Inside Gabriel and Isla’s residence, in a large secured room prepared specifically for this purpose. Files were neatly arranged. Tablets lay open.
Every candidate had been thoroughly screened.
After everything that had happened in the past. Stone had made one firm decision.
Every domestic worker connected to Magdalene was dismissed.
The entire estate was locked down.
No excuses. No risks.
