The Genius Ex-Wife’s Revenge Portfolio novel Chapter 437

He was acting so smug about Wyatt’s call, so fine, she’d just call Jessa. Let her see exactly what was happening.

As soon as she picked up her phone, the man above her stilled. David looked down, eyes narrowed.

Ella let out a cold laugh. She’d known Jessa’s name would get a reaction. “David, get out of my apartment. Right now. Or I swear I’ll tell Jessa you tried to harass me tonight. Jessa might be a dumbass, but trust me, she can make sure you never get away with anything again.”

David’s eyes locked on hers, his voice low and rough. “Ella, what’s going on with you?”

She blinked, thrown off. She’d just threatened to call Jessa, and he was asking her this? What was that supposed to mean?

David leaned down and brushed his lips against her ear. “Ella, you’re leaking.”

Leaking? What was he talking about?

Then it hit her. Ever since she got pregnant, her body had been changing in ways she didn’t always notice. Her breasts had been aching the past few days, and last night, she’d noticed a bit of white liquid.

Her mind reeled. She pushed at David’s chest. “Get off me!”

He caught her chin in his hand and kissed her again, harder this time. His kiss was wild, hungry, almost desperate, trailing down her neck.

Ella’s face burned crimson, hot enough to fry an egg. She could feel every muscle in his body, tense and ready. He was totally losing control.

David was the type of man who always knew exactly what he was doing. He’s rich, mature, and dangerously charming.

“David, you’re insane! Let go! I’m really calling Jessa this time!”

She fumbled with her phone, pulled up Jessa’s contact, and hit the video call button.

The call started to ring. “David, I’m calling her. It’s a video call. You’d better stop!”

Ella hadn’t expected Jessa to start gloating the second she answered. She shouted, desperate, “Jessa, help me!”

Jessa stopped, noticing for the first time that Ella’s face was flushed, her expression almost sinful.

“Jessa, control your man,” Ella yelled. “He broke into my apartment and he’s trying to… ah!”

The phone’s camera slipped lower, and Jessa instantly froze. She saw the man on top of Ella.

It was David.

He was still wearing his perfectly tailored black suit, holding Ella pinned to the sofa, his face buried in her neck.

Jessa’s breath caught, eyes wide with shock. She couldn’t process what she was seeing, couldn’t even begin to make sense of what was happening between David and Ella.
