The Genius Ex-Wife’s Revenge Portfolio novel Chapter 452

Jessa’s eyes caught the name tag on Ella’s coat—Doctor E.

She couldn’t believe it. Her breath hitched as she stared at Ella, completely stunned. “Doctor E? Wait, Ella, are you… Doctor E?”

Grandma Jill, Maureen, and Rachel all saw it too. Their jaws dropped. The three of them gaped at Ella like they’d seen a ghost. “Ella, what… who are you, really?”

Ella just arched her perfectly shaped brows. “You’ve all been trying to track down Doctor E, haven’t you? Well, here I am. I’m Doctor E. Doctor E is me.”

For a second, the world seemed to stop.

Ella was Doctor E.

Jessa, Maureen, Grandma Jill, and Rachel all froze in shock. No one said a word. None of them had ever even considered that Ella could be Doctor E. It just didn’t seem possible.

Jessa finally managed to speak. “No way. There’s no way this is real. Ella, you must be pretending to be Doctor E, right?”

Maureen jumped in, shaking her head. “How could you be Doctor E? Doctor E is this legendary doctor, and you’ve just been a housewife ever since you married Mr. Harmon. How could you possibly be Doctor E?”

Rachel scoffed. “If you were Doctor E, you wouldn’t have kept it so quiet. There’s no way. You’re definitely not Doctor E.”

Grandma Jill just stood there, speechless. Ella, her overlooked and underestimated granddaughter, was actually a world-class doctor? If Ella was Doctor E, then what did that make Jessa and Maureen, the so-called stars of the Irvine family? Next to Ella, they didn’t just fade—they disappeared.

No. Grandma Jill just couldn’t accept it.

From behind Ella, the vice president of the hospital finally spoke up. “Enough. This lady right here is Doctor E. Jessa, only Doctor E can treat your heart condition. Haven’t you been desperate to find her? Well, she’s right in front of you now. She can save your life.”

Jessa took an uneasy step back. She had never imagined that Ella could be the only person who could actually cure her heart.

Aiden, standing nearby, couldn’t help but smile. “Ms. Irvine, you’re actually Doctor E.”

Ella’s lips curled up in a small smile. “I am.”

She turned to David. “Hello, Mr. Harmon.”

Ella reached out her hand to him.

Slowly, David snapped back to reality. He took her hand in his. Her hand felt so soft and warm in his own.

In a moment, she pulled her hand back, the warmth leaving his palm. He felt almost dizzy.

Ella’s voice was cool and steady. “Mr. Harmon, we had an agreement. You hired me for a generous fee to treat Ms. Irvine. I’m here now, but it seems Ms. Irvine doesn’t want my help and even doubts who I am. So I’m afraid we’ll have to call off our arrangement.”
