The Genius Ex-Wife’s Revenge Portfolio novel Chapter 727

Finding a way to save Joanna was shocking enough, but the solution—Moss trading his life for hers—completely blindsided her. Just like that, the control she’d worked so hard to keep slipped right through her fingers.

There was no way she could let Moss save Joanna. Moss was hers. If he saved Joanna and left everything to her, what would Louise have left? Nothing.

All those years of scheming, all the time and energy she’d wasted on Moss—would any of it matter? Did he really think a fancy house and some cash could make up for that?

She didn’t care about any of it.

She wanted Moss. She wanted the title of Mrs. Wade. She wanted everything he owned.

It was supposed to be hers.

Louise marched into Jessa’s room without warning. Jessa was twirling in front of the mirror, trying on another one of her custom-made dresses. Being the billionaire’s daughter for the past three years had turned her into a total shopaholic, and she’d just splurged on a new batch of designer gowns.

Ever since Ella arrived, Jessa’s life had gone downhill. The only thing that made her feel better was shopping.

Louise’s sudden appearance made Jessa jump. She scrambled to cover herself. “Louise, what the hell? You can’t just barge in. I’m getting changed!”

Louise’s expression was icy. “Get dressed. Your easy days are over.”

Jessa stared at her, confused. “What are you talking about? What happened?”

Louise’s voice was low and serious. “Moss is writing his will.”

Jessa’s eyes went wide. “Wait, what? His will? Why now? Is something wrong with him?”

She was totally clueless, blindsided by the news.

Louise let out a cold laugh. “Moss and Joanna are still married. Joanna is his legal heir, so he’s leaving everything to her. As for you, he said if you can somehow get on Joanna’s good side in the future, maybe she’ll give you something. But let’s be honest. You and Joanna aren’t close. Winning her over is basically impossible. So, Jessa, you get nothing.”

Jessa, you get nothing.

The words echoed in her mind, loud and shattering. She never imagined that after pretending to be the billionaire’s daughter all these years, she’d end up empty-handed.

Desperate, Jessa reached out and grabbed Louise’s hands. “Louise, you have to help me. You have to think of something. I can’t lose everything. All my dad’s stuff should be mine… No, it should be ours!”

Louise’s lips curled into a sly smile. “Don’t worry. I have a plan. Just follow my lead.”

Jessa’s eyes lit up, hope surging back. “What plan? Tell me, Louise. What do we do?”
