The Genius Ex-Wife’s Revenge Portfolio novel Chapter 876

Jason couldn’t help but smile at the way Lilly’s eyes sparkled when she looked at him. Her sweet grin was enough to make him fall for her all over again. Even if she was teasing him, he didn’t mind. He’d let her fool him a thousand times if it meant seeing that look on her face.

He pulled her into a kiss. Lilly wrapped her arms around his neck, kissing him back with a warmth that made his heart race. By the time they broke apart, her cheeks were flushed, her cheeks flushed a soft pink. She gave him a bashful glance.

“I should head back to my studio,” she said. “I have some designs I need to finish today.”

Jason knew how busy she was, now that she was a famous designer. He cupped her cheek, his thumb brushing lightly against her skin. “Stay here and work in my office,” he said quietly. “I just want to be with you.”

It felt like they were falling in love all over again. Lilly smiled, feeling a little giddy at how clingy he was being. She kind of loved it.

“But—” she started, but Jason didn’t give her a chance to finish. He stepped out of the car, came around to her side, and opened the door. Without another word, he leaned down and scooped her into his arms.

Lilly’s long lashes fluttered in surprise. She wriggled in his grip, whispering urgently, “Jason, what are you doing? We’re at your company. People are going to see. Put me down, please.”

“Nope,” Jason replied, holding her even tighter.

He carried her right through the front doors. The moment they stepped inside, every head in the office turned. Employees stood up so fast their chairs squeaked on the floor.

“Mr. Farill!” someone called out, eyes wide with excitement.

A ripple of whispers spread through the crowd.

“Oh my god, is he carrying someone? Who is that?”

“He’s not even trying to hide it. He’s really letting everyone know.”

“I can’t believe it. This is better than any office drama.”

Lilly felt like every single person was staring at her. She quickly looped her arms around Jason’s neck and buried her face in his chest, wishing she could just disappear.

“Mr. Farill!” someone else called, and then, “Is that his girlfriend?”

“I want to feed you,” Jason replied. “Didn’t Lucas feed you at that restaurant?”

Lilly couldn’t believe how childish he was being. But it was kind of cute. She opened her mouth and let him feed her the shrimp. “Mmm, it’s really good.”

Jason looked satisfied, his smile deepening. Lilly picked up another shrimp and held it out to him. “Your turn. Open up.”

Jason met her gaze. Lilly smiled sweetly. “See? I didn’t feed Lucas. I’m only feeding you.”

That was all Jason needed to hear. He arched his brow, then leaned in and ate the shrimp from her fork.

“Lucas doesn’t even matter,” Lilly went on, her voice soft but steady. “He can’t compare to you. You’re the best, Jason. At least to me.”

Jason’s expression softened. He knew she was trying to make him feel better, and honestly, he loved it. He loved that in her heart, there was room for no one but him.
