Fred's expression turned pale. He used to believe his days were numbered and stressed over finding someone to take his place.

His sons and grandsons were too busy plotting against each other than actually making money, so he had no choice but to hand it over to Rachel to take charge.

But now that he felt better, getting stuck in the villa every day bored him so much.

Fred had been meaning to visit Wealthwave Group, the company he had founded, a few times. He had put his whole life into it, so he wanted to see how it had turned out.

But every time he brought up going to the company, Rachel would talk him out of it. She was worried about his health and told him to rest at home.

Upon hearing Malcolm's words, Fred's expression darkened, and his eyes turned cold, like a volcano on the verge of erupting.

Malcolm stared at Fred's face, paying close attention to Fred's expression. He was pretty sure that Fred was mad. He felt like had reached his goal.

"What a shame, Dad. You spent your whole life working hard, and now everything's ending up in someone else's possession."

Fred sprang up and grabbed his cup, smashing it on the floor. With a crack, the cup hit the floor and shattered into pieces. Coffee was spilled everywhere.

Watching this unfold, Malcolm knew Fred was upset, so he stood up and tried to calm Fred down. "Relax, Dad. It's actually a great you know about this. It's at least better than having Wealthwave Group changing to Grant Group behind your back."

Fred's aged eyes suddenly became as sharp and as deadly as an eagle's.

Glaring at Malcolm, Fred snapped, "Stop pretending. Do you think I don't know what you're up to? Get lost!"

Malcolm shuddered in fear. "It's Matthew going after Wealthwave Group, Dad. I get that you're mad, but there's no reason to take it out on me."

Fred cracked a twisted grin. "I can tell what you're doing from a mile away. Don't try to play games with me. You're way too inexperienced. Get lost!"

Seeing that Fred had caught onto his plan, Malcolm quickly shut up and hurried out in a fluster.
