Matthew realized Otto didn't believe in traditional medicine, but it wasn't surprising. Many people didn't have faith in traditional medicine, especially the youngsters who'd never tried it.

Matthew roughly grasped the situation. He paused for a while before continuing with a grin, "It's your choice whether you believe in traditional medicine or not. I'm not going to push you.

"Since you applied for the job, how about giving it a try for a month? Think of it as hanging out with traditional medicine practitioners for a month.

"You'll still get your 20 thousand dollars paycheck. After a month, if you think it isn't working out, feel free to look for another job. How does that sound?"

Otto was thinking if he worked here for two years, he still wouldn't believe in traditional medicine.
