Denny's face contorted in pain. When he saw his bloody teeth hit the ground, his expression turned vicious.

He snapped at Matthew, "How dare you lay your hand on me? I have ties with Mr. Murray of the health department, and I can easily ask him to revoke your health facility license. Are you out of your mind?"

Denny wasn't the only one surprised. Otto and Durban were also in disbelief at what they saw, their jaws dropped.

When Otto came down the building, he already told Matthew about Denny's background, but Matthew still went and hit Denny. Out of everyone, he was the most shocked.

How was this going to play out? Was he nuts?

Matthew scoffed. "You're the crazy one here. Are you expecting us not to fight back when you hit one of us?"

Denny held his face, looking furious. "Are you deaf? I have ties with Mr. Murray from the health department, and I can easily take away your health facility license. I'll make sure your hospital never gets to open and stays closed forever. Now you know what happens when you hit me."

Matthew snickered. "So, being well-connected makes you invincible, huh? Fine. I'll flip out for once."

With that, Matthew held Denny's hair and swung his hand, slapping Denny hard across the face.

The harsh slap made Denny's face twitch and his vision go blurry. The taste of blood in his mouth got even worse.

Denny howled in agony. "Why are you still hitting me? Stop—"

A cold glint flashed in Matthew's eyes as he slapped even harder. With a snap, the slap hit so hard that Denny's cry cut off halfway.
