Originally, Finnegan had intended to let Judah and the others leave first to avoid appearing overly cruel in front of the Chance family.
Afterward, he would ask Alisha to take some people to “take care” of the situation.
To his surprise, Judah had actually left behind harsh words and mentioned Martial Arts Alliance.
“Halt!” Finnegan coldly questioned, “Are you people from Martial Arts Alliance?”
At that point, the Chance family and Bernice's family had all become anxious.
They didn't expect Judah's group was from Martial Arts Alliance and wondered what to do.
In Nuthana, the Wright family was undeniably supreme. No one dared to defy the will of the Wright family.
The second most powerful faction in Nuthana was Martial Arts Alliance.
Even the Wahlstrom family had to show respect to the alliance, even going so far as to make significant concessions.
As such, the people there wondered why a dignified member of Martial Arts Alliance was involved in usury.
Judah wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, his smile cruel. “Scared now, are you, brat?” he taunted. “I'm giving you a chance. Kneel down now and grovel before me. I want to break your legs and compensate me with twenty million. If you do this, I won't alert Martial Arts Alliance.”
“It seems you're incapable of speaking nicely.” With a cold glint in his eyes, Finnegan stepped forward and grabbed Judah by the throat, hurling the latter's nearly two-hundred-kilogram body against a tree with a heavy thud.
On the spot, Judah spewed out a mouthful of fresh blood, curling up under the tree, unable to make a sound.
The thugs dared not move, fearing that Finnegan would treat them in the same manner.
“Finnegan!” Seeing that Finnegan was about to take action, Bernice hurriedly stepped forward to stop him. “Let it go. Let them leave.”
Martial Arts Alliance was an entity that had forced many to bend their knees, an entity they dared not provoke.
The people of the Chance family also chimed in, persuading, “Finnegan, let them go. We can't afford to mess with Martial Arts Alliance.”
Patrick had let go of his anger. He said solemnly, “Perhaps we should just compensate them with some money. Getting involved with Martial Arts Alliance can be quite troublesome.”
Finnegan, understanding everyone's concern, gently patted the back of Bernice's hand. “Don't worry. Have you forgotten?”
Blinking, Bernice recalled Oswald, who had caused trouble during the second opening of Jerome Medical Clinic.
Her beautiful eyelashes trembled slightly. “You?”
Knowing Bernice had already figured it out, Finnegan said, “I can handle this matter. You go to the restaurant with Grandpa and the others first. I'll join you once I've dealt with things here.”
Bernice had already guessed what Finnegan was going to do and nodded, saying, “Okay!”
Afterward, she beckoned Samuel and the others to head to the restaurant first.
However, Samuel and the others were still worried.
The others left the Chance residence after Bernice and her parents advised them to do so. Eugene was the only one who wouldn't leave.
Finnegan asked, “Why didn't you follow them?”
Eugene's eyes sparkled. “I want to see how you put up an act!”
The edge of Finnegan's mouth twitched. Is there something wrong with this kid's head?
However, it didn't matter much that Eugene was there as Bernice's family would certainly share some information with the Chance family.
He instructed Eugene to stand aside, then proceeded to walk toward Judah.
Judah had just caught his breath when he exclaimed in panic, “Brat, don't mess around. I'm a member of Martial Arts Alliance. If you dare lay a hand on me, I— Ah!”
Before he could finish speaking, Finnegan forcefully stepped on him, silencing him. “You have half an hour. Bring the people behind you here. Otherwise, no one leaves today.”
Upon hearing that, Judah, enduring the pain, asked menacingly, “Boy, are you sure?”
A glint of cold light flashed in Finnegan's eyes. So they really are from Martial Arts Alliance!
He rose to his feet and walked out of the pavilion.
With a sneer, Holger looked at him. “Brat, was it you who attacked my people? Do you know who I am?”
Judah timely interjected from the side, “Brat, you're done for. He is Holger Marlowe, son of the vice president of Nuthana's Martial Arts Alliance!”
The young men and women all looked at Finnegan with playful and teasing expressions.
It was as if they were looking at a fool. To think he dares to attack Mr. Holger’s people!
Finnegan cleared his throat lightly and said, “So you're Mr. Holger, right? Maybe you should call your father over. Otherwise, you might not be able to handle me today!”
“Wow, this guy's a natural poser!”
“My eyes, my eyes, whose fake act blinded my eyes with such a dazzling glare?”
“You're arrogant, brat. Crushing you doesn't even need Mr. Holger, much less Mr. Marlowe.”
“I could crush you countless times with just one finger, yet you have the audacity to ask for Mr. Marlowe.”
Upon hearing Finnegan's words, the group of young men and women reacted as if they had heard the world's biggest joke, unable to stop their mockery and ridicule.
The look in their eyes, as they gazed at Finnegan, was as if they were looking at a fool.
Holger shook his head in disappointment. “I had some expectations initially. However, it turns out he's just an idiot. I've even lost interest in bothering with him.”
Raising his right hand, he waved it lightly and commanded, “Go, break his legs. Then find his family and bring them back. If I don't turn their world upside down today, my name's not Holger.”
Two disciples from Martial Arts Alliance, who were followers of Holger, immediately stepped forward. They were Amber Realm cultivators of Preliminary Rank.
With a meaningful smile, Finnegan said, “Still not making your move? If I have to do it myself, they're going to die, you know!”
