The Healing Avenger novel Chapter 379

Romona asked, “Finnegan, have you lost your mind from being infuriated by Beckett and his gang?”

Last night, the deaths of Sabrina and Christopher could only be attributed to two possibilities.

It was either a revenge killing or someone was trying to frame Finnegan.

There was no way both possibilities to be true at the same time.

It was hard to fathom that someone would want to kill Sabrina and Christopher while conveniently framing Finnegan for their deaths.

Finnegan walked over to the window, looking at the kneeling Leonardo and Beckett, who were guarded by the elites of the Wahlstrom family. A cold glint flashed in his eyes. “Their intrusion without evidence did irritate me, but it's not enough to drive me mad.”

“So what did you mean by what you just said?”

Suspecting something, Finnegan said, “You'll find out soon enough. For now, go back and inform your granddad that I will take care of this.”

Romona couldn't help but frown. “What exactly are you trying to do?”

Since the deaths of Sabrina and Christopher had nothing to do with Finnegan, there was absolutely no need for him to get involved.

Finnegan waved her away. “Go on now. You'll naturally understand later.”

Seeing that Finnegan didn't want to tell her, Romona snorted softly and turned to leave.

Before long, Alisha also arrived in the room. “Did you really not kill Sabrina and Christopher?”

“Stop asking me such foolish questions.”

Finnegan's tone suddenly turned cold, he truly didn't want to explain the issue any further.

Alisha furrowed her brows, silently cursing under her breath as she asked, “So, what do you plan to do about this? Even if Beckett and Leonardo verbally accept it, they won't truly be convinced in their hearts.”

“Is there any news on Tyrone and the Royle family?”

“Not at the moment.”

Finnegan stretched his neck and said, “It seems that Tyrone and the Royle family have decided not to intervene, allowing this matter to fester. If that's the case, let them kneel till dusk!”

No sooner had the words left his mouth than the phone began to ring.

It was a call from Rhiannon.

Retracting his gaze, Finnegan dismissed Alisha before he answered the phone. “Where have you been these past few days? Did you go back to Ms. Lindsey's place again?”

“I didn't. Instead, I'm staying at Ms. Haimowitz's house.”

Finnegan furrowed his brow. “Rhiannon, you've become quite close with Ms. Haimowitz and her group, haven't you?”

Rhiannon chuckled. “Is it wrong for me to be close to them? They're giving me guidance after all.”

“I admit that's good.” Finnegan let out a snort. “But don't you dare betray your own brother. Or else, I'll teach you a lesson.”

Rhiannon retorted, “When did I ever do that?”

You've already accepted a sports car from Mandy, and you're still denying it?

Nevertheless, he also knew that Rhiannon would never admit it.

Finnegan asked, “Alright, why are you calling me so early in the morning?”

“I want to inform you that Mom was discharged from the hospital this morning, and I am currently handling her discharge procedures.”

Upon hearing this, Finnegan felt a pang of guilt and said, “I'm sorry for having troubled you with looking after Mom during this time. Also, please let her know that Jerome Medical Clinic has resumed normal operations. She can go over to cook whenever she wants.”

Rhiannon responded affirmatively, “I'll talk to her in a bit. Anyway, Ms. Lindsey called me last night, so I heard everything. She also seems to be in a bad mood. After discussing it with Stanley, we decided to have dinner together tonight to cheer her up.”

Finnegan raised an eyebrow. “Stanley?”

Rhiannon said, “Ms. Lindsey's brother, Stanley. Didn't I mention this to you when I returned to Dragon Bay a few days ago? So, are you free tonight?”

Glancing over at Beckett, who was still kneeling and ranting in the courtyard, Finnegan said, “Alright, I've been missing the roasted suckling pig from Bennett Farmhouse. You should go ahead and arrange it!”

After hanging up the phone, Finnegan sat quietly for a moment before dialing Reynard's number. “I heard Septem is a favorite in Dragon Team, right?”

Leonardo asked, “What kind of deal do you want to make?”

“I didn't kill them, and I have no obligation to prove it to you.” Finnegan nodded, expressing his thoughts. “However, I admire your emphasis on familial bonds when you rushed into Dragon Bay, disregarding your lives for your loved ones. So, I will help you find the murderer, even recover their heads. And you... How about each of you owe me a favor in return? Perhaps I may never need you to repay it in this lifetime, but when the time comes for me to call it, you must return the favor to me!”

Beckett raised an eyebrow. “Finnegan, did you really not kill them?”

As someone who ran the top dealership in Nuthana and was capable of holding his own against Jeovani within the Royle family, Beckett was naturally not a fool.

It was just that Christopher's death earlier had driven him to lose his sanity.

Having calmed down a little, he felt that if it was indeed Finnegan's doing, the latter would not have wasted so much time talking needlessly.

In a solemn tone, Finnegan said, “All you need to tell me now is, are we proceeding with this deal or not?”

Leonardo lifted his gaze, fixing it intently on Finnegan for a few seconds before declaring, “I agree!”

Beckett hesitated for a moment before nodding. “I agree too!”

If indeed it wasn't Finnegan's doing, then it would be perfect for them if Finnegan could find the real culprit.

As for the favor they were to owe him, it was a matter for another time.

Their only desire now was to seek vengeance for their loved ones.

They also wanted to confirm if the two really weren't murdered by Finnegan.

Finnegan waved his hand and said, “Since you all agree, then get out of here. But...”

Pointing at the shattered cup on the floor, he added, “Mr. Royle, before you leave, could you please clean up your mess? Dragon Bay No. 1 Villa is not a place where you can behave brazenly.”

After that, Finnegan instructed Alisha to prepare the car, while he himself headed toward the outside of the villa.

Just as he arrived at the main gate in the garden, he received a call from Madison.

Only then did Finnegan smack his forehead, exclaiming, “I forgot!”
