The Healing Avenger novel Chapter 383

As his words fell, Finnegan suddenly spun around, and in an instant, he was in front of Lindsey.

As he raised his right hand, he firmly grasped Lindsey's throat.

This scene left everyone momentarily stunned.

Alisha couldn't help but ask, “Finnegan, what are you doing?”

Lindsey was even more bewildered. “What are you doing?”

However, Finnegan did not respond. He stared directly at Cameron, whose body was trembling. “Come on. Throw out your remote control.”

The grip on Lindsey's neck tightened a bit, causing her complexion to turn a noticeable shade of red.

Meanwhile, Cameron was gritting his teeth.

Seeing him motionless, Finnegan turned his head toward Stanley, who was shivering uncontrollably. A playful smirk tugged at the corner of his mouth. “Hey, I've taken your sister hostage. How come you're not reacting at all?”

“You are all bad people! You are all bad people!” It seemed as though Stanley couldn't bear such a scene and was about to take off running.

Lindsey called out in confusion, “Stan!”

“Vixen, drag him back.”

Still in a daze, Alisha quickly waved her hand.

Two elite members of the Wahlstrom family swiftly advanced, directly seizing Stanley. Seeing Stanley still resisting, they promptly landed two punches on him, which finally subdued him.

Then, he was dragged back and tossed in front of Finnegan.

Lindsey roared, “Finnegan, what exactly are you trying to do? Why are you instructing them to treat Stan like this?”

“Vixen, look at his face!”

Furrowing her brows, Alisha bent down to inspect and quickly discerned the truth. “This seems to be a mask!”

Reaching out, she tore away a mask so thin it was almost invisible from Stanley's face. What was revealed was a face filled with fear, yet strikingly unfamiliar.

Lindsey's body jolted. “Who are you?”

Bewildered, Alisha looked at Finnegan. “What's going on?”

With a playful smile, Finnegan looked again at Cameron. “The remote control. Are you handing it over?”

Cameron's body was trembling, his eyes glaring fiercely at Finnegan.

“Are you not handing it over?” With a cold laugh, Finnegan suddenly seized Lindsey by the neck, hoisting her up.

Lindsey, who was already having difficulty breathing, instantly turned dark red. Her hands and feet were flailing incessantly.

A flash of insight crossed Alisha's mind, and she turned to look at Cameron in surprise. “Finnegan, Cameron is the real Stanley. He is Lindsey's biological brother. The Stanley we know is an imposter he found, with the intention of using Rhiannon to threaten you and then clear himself of suspicion so that even Lindsey would not suspect him. Is that right?”

“You're not stupid at all.” At this point, Finnegan no longer kept them in suspense. “He is indeed Lindsey's brother, Stanley, a man who became an assassin but didn't want his own sister to know.”

The woman who had disguised herself as Rhiannon asked, “No one has been able to uncover Cameron's true identity. How did you manage to pinpoint it?”

Naturally, Finnegan wouldn't reveal that his spiritual energy was concentrated in his eyes, granting him the ability to see through things.

He casually concocted a plausible excuse. “Even the best of us can overlook something. The person I hired discovered that after the last bomb at the hotel, he vanished into the neighborhood where Lindsey lived. Coincidentally, I knew that Lindsey's brother had returned from abroad. So, I decided to tentatively investigate!”

Upon hearing this, Rhiannon didn't harbor any doubts and nodded in agreement. “Finnegan, you truly are intelligent!”

With a long sigh, Cameron removed the mask from his face, revealing an utterly nondescript countenance.

Following that, he removed the nondescript disguise mask, revealing his true face.

It was indeed Stanley.

Looking at Lindsey's pained expression, Finnegan sighed inwardly. “How could I possibly manipulate you?”

As he spoke, Finnegan tightened his grip on Lindsey's neck a bit more.

Cameron roared, “Finnegan, let Linnie go. She's innocent!”

Finnegan responded indifferently, “Isn't Rhia innocent? If you can use Rhia to threaten me, why can't I use your sister to threaten you? As a person, you can't have double standards!”

Cameron said angrily, “I only intended to use Rhia as leverage against you. I never thought of killing her.”

“I don't believe it!” Finnegan shrugged. “So, are you going to hand over the remote or not?”

The intent to kill solidified.

The situation was such that if Cameron didn't comply, Lindsey would be killed instantly.

Cameron doubted Finnegan, but when he saw Lindsey's eyes rolling back, he couldn't ignore it any longer. “I'll hand it over to you!”

With that, he casually tossed the remote control to the woman who had disguised herself as Rhiannon.

Upon receiving the remote control, she quickly pressed the pause button. Only then was she able to dismantle the bomb that had been set up and toss it aside.

Finnegan slightly loosened his grip on Lindsey's neck. “Earlier, you wanted me to sever my own arms. What are you thinking now?”

Upon hearing this, Cameron let out a low growl in anger. “Finnegan!”

“Well, do you still dare to defy me?” With a cold laugh, Finnegan casually picked up a knife from the side, ruthlessly slashing across Lindsey's arm without any hesitation.

Lindsey let out a pained cry, her eyes filled with increasing agony. “Finnegan, spare Stan. If you must kill, kill me!”

“You have no right to make demands of me,” Finnegan replied coldly. “If your brother continues to oppose me, I will kill you first, then besiege him to death! But Cameron, do you wish to meet your own demise, or would you rather have your sister wait for you in the netherworld?”
