Wolf turned to look at Dalton. "Didn't Mr. Leprechaun say that you could rest for the next two days?"

"Are his words or mine more important?" Wynter asked as she turned to take the bank card from him. "You're still young, so it's not safe to carry so much money around. I'll keep it for you first and return it when you're all grown up."

Wolf hung his head. "Aw… I barely even got to touch it…"

Just then, Wynter's phone started ringing. She picked it up and glanced at it to see a video call invitation. She answered the call without hesitation, unconcealable joy shining in her eyes.

"Grandma," she greeted, gazing happily at the person in the video.

Margaret immediately hummed in acknowledgement. "I just kind of miss you because I haven't seen you in so long, Wynter. I'm not interrupting anything, am I?"

Wynter shook her head. "You aren't, Grandma. Feel free to call me whenever you miss me."

Margaret smiled and said, "That's good. It was my next-door neighbor who taught me how to make a video call. I wouldn't have figured it out otherwise."

"I'll spend more time with you the next time I go back," Wynter told her before suddenly remembering something. "Your birthday should be coming up next month, right, Grandma?"

Hearing that, Margaret paused. "My birthday? I don't really remember it all that well, but it doesn't matter whether I celebrate it or not. As long as I get to see you, Wynter, that's enough for me."

"I'll take care of the arrangements when I return. Your birthday this year marks an important milestone in your life, so I must make proper arrangements for it. You don't have to worry about the rest."

Wynter moved her phone. "Don't worry, Grandma. Just look at Wolf—he's eating more than ever before."

Wolf hadn't seen Margaret in a long time either. He grinned and greeted, "Grandma."

Margaret smiled. "Ah, Wolf. You're still growing, so remember to eat more. If you don't get enough to eat, just tell me, and I'll make lots of delicious food for you."
