Joseph hadn't expected her to be so forward tonight, effortlessly delivering such a romantic confession.

He looked up, studying her gorgeous face for a moment. A devastating smile curved his lips. Driven by an irresistible impulse, he straightened his back, wrapped a hand around the nape of her neck, and pulled her in for a kiss.

Vivica instinctively leaned back, but his strong grip held her firmly in place. With nowhere to hide, she melted into the kiss, a warm flush spreading across her cheeks.

With Chaim fast asleep, they didn't have to hold back. The kiss quickly deepened, turning hungry and demanding.

Vivica had been sitting sideways on his lap, her body twisted awkwardly. As the passion escalated, the angle simply wasn't cutting it for Joseph. "Unacceptable," he countered shamelessly. "Not only are you going to say it again, you're going to get creative and tell me every day."

Vivica was speechless.

"It's getting late. We should hit the shower and get to bed."

Seeing her playfully exasperated expression, Joseph’s smile widened. Without another word, he scooped his wife up into his arms and carried her toward the bathroom.

The next morning, Vivica stood by her decision to visit the hospital and finally meet her biological father.

Shortly after they pulled out of the hotel parking lot, Joseph noticed a car tailing them. After checking his rearview mirror a few times to confirm, he signaled and pulled over to the side of the road. To his surprise, the sleek electric SUV behind them pulled over as well.

As Joseph unbuckled his seatbelt, Vivica grabbed his arm. "Hey, be careful!"

Joseph merged back onto the road, continuing the drive to the hospital. As they neared the medical center, Raymond called to check their ETA. Hearing they were just minutes away, he hurried downstairs to meet them.

When Joseph, Vivica, and Chaim walked into the inpatient lobby, Raymond was already waiting.

"Mr. Baird! Vivica!" he greeted them with a wide smile, immediately turning his attention to the little boy. "Hey, Chaim. Did you have breakfast?"

"Hi. Yes, I did," Chaim replied politely.

Raymond chuckled, reaching out to pat the boy's head. "Chaim, you should call me Uncle Raymond."

Chaim blinked, looking up at his parents in confusion.
