The IVF Secret That Shook a Dynasty novel Chapter 569

"Back when Chaim was hospitalized, I noticed there were quite a few kids with leukemia in the Hematology Department. There was a donation box at the nurses' station, but compared to the astronomical medical bills, the money in there wasn't even a drop in the bucket."

Vivica had been thinking about this for a long time. It was just that, in the beginning, she didn't have much money of her own, so she was powerless to help even if she wanted to.

But things were different now.

She was wealthy. More importantly, she was married to Joseph and held the esteemed title of Mrs. Baird.

Her and Chaim's lives were fully supported by the Baird family. The money sitting in her account could absolutely go toward something much more meaningful.

Joseph nodded, his voice low. "Leukemia is a critical illness. Whether it's long-term chemotherapy or bone marrow transplants, the costs are staggering. For an average family, the numbers are astronomical."

"Exactly. So I want to take fifty million from my account and set up an assistance foundation specifically for children from low-income families with leukemia. It would give back to the community and hopefully build some good karma for Chaim."

Vivica had been pondering this for a while, just never having the time to act on it.

Now that her biological parents' assets were officially hers, the funds in her account were only growing. With no better investment plans in mind, she returned to this idea.

Joseph didn't object, but looked at her earnestly. "You need to be sure about this. Once that money is given, you can't take it back. Plus, once the foundation is established, it requires continuous operation, which might mean a constant influx of funds."

"Yeah, I know. I've spent the last few weeks researching and looking into it. But I still want to do it. I feel like God has blessed me with so much. Now that I have the ability, I want to pay it forward."

"If you've truly thought this through, then of course I support you. And I won't just support you with words; I'll back it up with actions."

Vivica turned her head to look up at him, pleasantly surprised.

"What do you mean? Are you going to donate too?"

It perfectly matched the old saying: You shouldn't just look for someone who treats you well; you should look for someone who is simply a good person.

Joseph was exactly thatโ€”a fundamentally good person!

"Once the foundation is set up, keeping it running long-term will require steady funding, and the annual management can be a headache. But you don't have to worry about any of that. My firm has lawyers who specialize in this exact area. They're total professionals."

"Yes! I read up on all of that, which is exactly why I said I needed your help."

Vivica grew even more ecstatic. Before she could even ask for specific help, her husband had proactively taken care of everything.

She let out a long, satisfied sigh, hugging the man beside her tighter, and said dreamily, "I believe God will see how much love and sincerity we're putting out there, and He'll let Chaim's illness be cured."
