While they waited in Harvey's office for the blood test results, Joseph pulled out his phone and called Roderic, delegating all his tasks so he wouldn't have to go in.

Overhearing the call, Vivica didn't agree with his decision. "I'm perfectly fine. Why are you canceling your work? Go to the office if you need to, I can take care of myself."

"No need. I'm staying right here with you. I've reassigned everything, they just need to follow my instructions."

The two of them sat close, practically radiating affection, lost in their own little world.

Quintina had just walked out of the delivery room and called her best friend the second she saw the message. "Vivica, are you at the hospital?"

"Yeah, I'm at Harvey's office. Don't worry if you're busy, we can catch up later."
