Adrian sat there for a long time without saying a single word.

Jocelyn didn't press the issue any further.

She had said enough.

Now it was simply a matter of whether Adrian was willing to call her bluff.

Maria looked up. "What about this house? Are you going to sell it?"

"Let's keep it. It'd be a shame to sell it."

Maria nodded slowly. "Miss Jocelyn, I heard you talking to Adrian just now."

"Yeah."

"Are you really planning to buy out The Evans Group? But where are you going to get all that money?"
