The Man Who Waited vs. The Man Who Wasted novel Chapter 339

The air in the room suddenly went dead silent.

It took Liam several seconds to process what she had just said.

Sarah wanted to die of embarrassment.

Why did she just blurt that out?

She smacked Liam on the arm, threw herself back against the mattress, and yanked the covers over her head.

Liam finally snapped out of his shock. He peeled the blanket back just enough to see her face.

"You're kidding, right? Did you get surgery to fix it or something?"

Someone who went through boyfriends faster than she changed clothes was actually a virgin?

It was unbelievable.

But then he recalled that kiss in the club. Her technique had been completely clumsy, totally unlike an experienced player.

Was she really...

Sarah's muffled voice came from beneath the blanket. "Liam, if you want to die, I'll happily kill you right now."

"Are you serious? You're not messing with me?"

"If I'm lying, you're a dog!"

Liam's mind went right into the gutter. "How about I verify that for you? We won't know for sure until we check."

Sarah violently kicked him under the covers.

Liam jolted backward. "Careful with the family jewels!"

"I hope they're crushed! We can be sisters from now on."

Liam's hand wandered beneath the blanket, poking at her waist to tickle her. "Come out and talk to me."

Sarah squirmed away, laughing despite herself. In the chaos of flailing limbs, she accidentally brushed against something.

She froze, then scrambled to the far edge of the bed in sheer panic.

Even if she'd never eaten pork, she'd seen pigs run.

Her face turned crimson. "Get out!"

Liam looked highly amused. "It's called morning wood. Perfectly normal."

Sarah ignored him and sat up, frantically searching the room for her clothes. But there was nothing in sight.

"Don't bother looking," Liam said. "They're in the washing machine. You threw up all over yourself yesterday. It was disgusting."
