The MC President's Forsaken Wife (Zara and Knox) novel Chapter 293

Chapter 144-3

“Anytime, Jade,” I say, refilling her mug with fresh coffee. “That’s what I’m here for. We’re family.”

Jade watches the dark liquid fill her cup, a familiar, playful spark returning to her bright blue eyes as she looks up at me over the rim.

“You know,” Jade drawls, a wicked, teasing grin slowly spreading across her face. “We really need to publish a cheat book.”

I laugh, leaning back against the counter. “A cheat book?”

“Yeah, a field manual,” Jade chuckles, waving her hand dramatically through the air. Deciphering the Motorcycle Club Warrior: A Practical Guide for Frustrated Women.

“Chapter One: ‘How to explain tactical patience to a man who thinks every problem can be solved with fifty pounds of high explosives”.”

“Chapter Two,” I add seamlessly, grinning as I pick up my coffee, “Why your father and your husband will argue for six hours over a simple business decision, just because neither of them wants to be the first one to say ‘I’m wrong’.”

“Chapter Three,” Jade continues. “Translating the Silent Tantrum: How to tell if he’s furious at a rival club, stressed about church, or just having a meltdown because a prospect washed his unwashed, lucky rally cut that hasn’t seen water since 2018″.”

“Oh, that’s crucial,” I chuckle. “Also, Chapter Four: ‘Understanding why a grown, six-foot-four man will treat a scrape on his bike’s custom chrome like a critical medical emergency, but walk around with three cracked ribs from a bar fight claiming he just ‘slept on it funny.”

“And Chapter Five,” Jade grins wickedly, leaning over the counter with her chin in her palm. “How to casually remind a full-patch officer that no matter how many terrifying skull patches are sewn onto his cut, he still can’t find his own car keys without his woman pointing directly at the kitchen island”.”

“We’d make an absolute fortune,” I say, shaking my head. “The hordes of grateful MC girlfriends and old ladies across every charter would treat us like patron saints. We’d have women weeping tears of relief

from coast to coast.”

“We’d have to set up an encrypted group chat just to handle the fan mail,” Jade adds, her eyes sparkling with mischief. “A collective support group where we drop tactical advice, trade survival strategies, and send emergency alerts whenever the officers leave church looking exceptionally pissed off.”

“We could call the chat The Real High Table,” I suggest, raising my mug in a mock toast.

“Done,” Jade grins, clinking her ceramic cup against mine. “The prospects alone would buy out the first printing just to figure out how we keep beating them to the punch.”

“We’d sell out globally,” I say, watching as she takes a deep, relaxed breath and picks up her fork again, finally digging into her breakfast with a real, ravenous appetite. “We’d be able to buy our own islands.”

The heavy tension from yesterday and the dark mood of the morning melt away completely with our laughter, leaving just the simple, comforting rhythm of two women who know this wild, dangerous world
