Appeal-2

And when he had finally found a little happiness-a small, precious sliver of joy in the form of a red-haired medical student who saw him for who he truly was-they wanted to snatch it away.
*No more.*
The thought crystallized in his mind, sharp and unyielding,
*Never again.*
He felt Lori beside him-devastated, fragile, innocent. The Council had painted her as a seductress, an immoral woman who had trapped an unsuspecting Alpha. They had twisted the truth, weaponized her love, turned her into something dark and ugly.
But he knew the truth.
She was none of those things.
She was brave. Loyal. Fierce. She had stood by him when everyone else had abandoned him. She had loved him without conditions, without expectations.
And he would not let them destroy her.
Attia opened his mouth, his voice clear and strong.
“Esteemed Council,” he said, his words cutting through the stunned silence. “I would like to appeal this decision. I would like to request that you reconsider.”
The head Council member’s expression flickered-surprise, then annoyance, then cold dismissal.
“Mr. Attia,” he replied, his voice sharp. “Appeal rejected. The evidence is too overwhelming. We cannot risk affecting future generations by promoting relationships like this.”
Attia felt the last vestiges of his patience snap.
He stood taller, his voice ringing through the chamber.
“In that case,” he said, “I am presenting you with my resignation from the Lycan Academy-with immediate effect. As a teacher and as headmaster.”
The room erupted.
Gasps. Shouts. Whispers that rose to a deafening roar. The Council members exchanged panicked glances. The spectators leaned forward in their seats, their eyes wide with shock.
But Attia wasn’t finished.
“Moreover,” he continued, his voice unwavering, “I would like to apply for lone wolf status and undergo pack separation-with immediate effect.”
Silence.
Absolute, stunned silence.

< Appeal-2
No one had expected this. No one had even considered it as a possibility. Attia Scott-the pride of the Scott family, the headmaster of the most prestigious academy in the kingdom, the warrior who had sacrificed everything for his pack-was walking away.
Lori watched him, her heart pounding.
And then something inside her stirred.
She stepped forward, her hand finding his, her chin lifted high.
“I would like to withdraw from the Lycan Academy as a student,” she said, her voice clear and steady, despite the trembling in her heart. “And I would like to apply for lone wolf status and undergo pack separation as well.”
The uproar that followed was deafening.

Council members rose to their feet, their voices overlapping in a cacophony of disbelief and outrage. Lord Scott’s face was purple with rage. Lady Scott looked like she had swallowed poison. Monica Zarg’s triumphant smile had vanished, replaced by a look of utter shock.
But Lori didn’t see any of them.
She only saw Attia.
He turned to her, his eyes wide, his expression a mixture of shock and awe.
“Lori,” he breathed. “Are you sure?”
She squeezed his hand.
