The Moment I Stepped Into His World as the Fake Girlfriend, I Became the Real Prize novel Chapter 103

Sasha's eyes widened in shock, snapping her head toward the voice in disbelief.

"Elena, why the hell are you here?!"

The reality check came way too fast, leaving her completely unhinged.

"Obviously, if you call my boyfriend to rescue you, I'm going to tag along."

Still holding her pants up, Elena casually strolled over to Sterling's side.

She looked up, locking eyes directly with Lydia.

At that moment, Lydia still had her arms wrapped around Sterling's waist, her cheek pressed against his back.

Clearly not expecting Elena to be there, Lydia stiffened.

The moment their eyes met, Lydia bit her lip, a swirl of conflicting emotions flashing across her face.

"Speaking of which, I was the one who called the cops. You should be thanking me, Lydia."

Elena spoke with a sweet smile, but her words felt like needles, making the hands gripping Sterling's waist feel entirely out of place.

"What a joke! Why should she thank you? Even if you hadn't called the police, Lydia would have been fine! Who knows what your real motive was. You probably just wanted the cops to show up so Sterling wouldn't come!"

Sasha snapped back to reality, glaring daggers at Elena.

"Too bad it backfired on you. Sterling cares so much about Lydia that even with the cops here, he still needed to see for himself that she was safe!"

Her face throbbed with pain, a direct result of crossing Elena earlier.

She was desperate for Lydia to fight back and snatch the heir away from this girl once and for all.

She was just a woman from The Midnight Lounge. Without Sterling's protection, she would be nothing.

"Allow me to remind you, the 'Sterling' you keep talking about is still my boyfriend."

Elena offered a gentle, smiling reminder.

"You stole him from Lydia!"

Sasha blurted out without a second thought.

Sterling looked down at the hands wrapped around his waist. Lydia's hands.

This was almost the first time she had ever taken the initiative to hug him, even asking if he could hold her.
