The Moment I Stepped Into His World as the Fake Girlfriend, I Became the Real Prize novel Chapter 49

"Ms. Larkin, Sterling just ran out after the school belle! Aren't you going to go check on them?"

Hearing the panicked female voice above her, Elena looked up and recognized the highly animated girl from earlier.

She smiled softly, playing it completely cool. "There's no need. I trust him."

"What good is blind trust when it comes to boyfriends?"

Lorelei couldn't believe it. How could someone so stunning be so painfully naive?

Without waiting for a reply, she launched into a desperate warning. "Ms. Larkin, you know he liked her, but you have no idea just how hopelessly obsessed he was! You two just started dating, and your bond isn't strong yet. If you don't keep a close eye on him, she's going to steal him right out from under you..."

As she rambled on, she realized the girl was still casually eating her lunch, causing Lorelei's jaw to drop in shock.

"Stop eating! Your boyfriend is about to be stolen, aren't you worried?"

Elena could tell the girl meant well, but she simply had no way to explain the situation.

She couldn't exactly tell her that Sterling wasn't actually her boyfriend, right?

Even if she were to reveal the truth, it definitely wasn't going to be today.

"A man who can be stolen that easily was never mine to begin with."

She delivered the line with utmost sincerity, leaving Lorelei completely stunned and devoid of a comeback.

Was it true what they said about God being fair?

He gave this girl unearthly beauty, but left her completely devoid of basic intellect. She was a textbook naive beauty!

Outside the cafeteria, Sasha had her head down, furiously typing on her phone.

Once she sent the text, she snarled, "That homewrecking bitch, I am going to teach her a lesson she'll never forget!"

"Sasha, what are you doing?"

Lydia looked over at her, displaying a hint of concern.
