She didn't need to be told; that was exactly what Sasha was planning.
So, the moment Sterling got close, she stumbled toward him and collapsed to the floor. "Sterling, save me! Ms. Larkin has gone crazy. She just tried to drown me!"
Sterling came to a halt, looking down at Sasha. Her cheeks were swollen, a purple bruise marred her forehead, and her hair was a disheveled, soaking mess. She looked incredibly pathetic.
Was she implying that Elena did this to her?
"Sasha—"
Lydia jogged over, leaning down to support her. "What happened to you?"
"It was Ms. Larkin, Sterling's girlfriend! She slapped me several times and slammed my head into the mirror! The worst part was she filled the sink with water and shoved my face into it without letting go—"
Sasha sobbed, tightly gripping Lydia's hand, her face growing even paler. "Lydia, I could feel it. She truly wanted to kill me!"
Lydia's beautiful features darkened as she shot a glance at Lorelei. "Lorelei, didn't you insist that Sasha had cornered Ms. Larkin, and that Ms. Larkin was beautiful, fragile, and innocent? How do you explain this situation then?"
Lorelei, who had arrived last, stared at Sasha in absolute shock, utterly bewildered.
"I... I heard it with my own ears! She said she was taking a group to corner Ms. Larkin, and it was these exact girls!"
Lorelei pointed at the group of girls, her voice growing less confident with every word.
If so many people ambushed Ms. Larkin, why was Sasha the one looking so battered?
"Lorelei, I know you have it out for me, but you can't just lie through your teeth! Look closely. All these injuries were caused by your precious Ms. Larkin. They can all testify to it!"
Sasha accused with tear-filled eyes, gesturing toward the other girls.
