To his surprise, the girl ignored his plea and continued chatting away. "Xavier, since you're not feeling well and won't be needing this for a while, can we borrow it?"
Instantly, heat flared not just across Sterling's face, but down his neck as well.
He deeply felt that he had blushed more times because of Elena than in his entire life combined!
"Take it off and give it back to Xavier. We don't need it..."
"Don't be shy, babe. I think... Xavier understands completely. You don't mind, do you?"
Elena asked again, slowly wrapping the chain around her fingers.
Her slender, delicate fingers intertwined with the fine silver chain, casting a highly suggestive image under the warm bedroom lights.
Somehow, Sterling felt that both he and his brother were losing face entirely.
The girl, on the other hand, didn't even have a hint of pink on her cheeks, acting as if this was just another Tuesday.
Remembering her line of work, Sterling pressed his lips together.
"I. Don't. Mind!"
Xavier didn't look up either, grinding the words out through clenched teeth.
When he had willingly put on the collar and offered her the chain, she had simply tossed it away.
Yet with Sterling, she was completely engrossed, eagerly showering him with praise.
He could feel it; her provocation of him was real, but her fondness for Sterling was just as real.
Realizing this, his hands curled into tight fists against the sheets, a suffocating wave of unfamiliar, sour jealousy swelling in his chest.
"I knew you wouldn't mind, Xavier. You have so much experience in that department, unlike Sterling who doesn't know a thing. You can teach him a few tricks sometime... mmpf!"
Sterling's heart hammered in his chest, finding the girl too outrageously bold. He hurriedly clamped a hand over her mouth.
"Stop talking. Xavier needs to rest, let's just go."
She truly didn't know when to quit, completely ignoring the freezing aura radiating from his brother, who was clearly deeply offended.
To piss Xavier off this much was a talent in itself!
But the point still stood—the harder she offended Xavier now, the more severe the consequences would be later!
Forgetting that the collar was still strapped to his neck, Sterling grabbed the girl to drag her out.
"Wait—"
Elena's gaze shifted, landing on the nightstand where a box of condoms sat.
*Hah!*
