Chapter 114

I was looking between Ezra, Logan and this creature and the creature is the one that made the first move. Unfortunately, he was looking straight at me with a wicked grin on his face.

“Hello there princess. I was hoping I would see you again.” It said to me.

“What the hell are you doing Logan? Are you actually friends with this thing?” I asked.

“Of course we’re not friends.” Logan said.

“Then what the fuck is going on down here?” Ezra growled, not taking his eyes off of Logan. I took a step forward and put my hand of Ezra’s arm, making sure that he didn’t do anything stupid right now. We still needed Logan alive. At least for now.

“That’s none of your business. I can do whatever the hell I want in my packhouse.” Logan growled back.

“Why are you confiding in this creature?” I asked, a lot calmer.

“Who else can I fucking talk to?” Logan yelled, taking me by surprise.

I looked at him with wide eyes before I looked back at the creature.

“What are you talking about?” I asked.

“I have no one else to talk to. I can’t talk to my wife, because she’s a big hoe bag, I can’t talk to my Beta or Gamma or anyone because they don’t care. No one in this pack respects me. I’ve let these creatures live for too long outside the pack that everyone is now blaming me for the shit storm that is about to pour down on us.” Logan yelled.

“The pack blames you because you haven’t taken care of these creatures?” I asked.

“Yeah. They think that I’m not doing what I should be doing. I should have killed them when I knew that they were the ones killing humans.”

“Why didn’t you?” Ezra asked.

It was a good question. Why didn’t he just go and try and take them all out, but then I remembered. They can’t be killed. Well, they couldn’t be killed. Not by anything Logan had done.

“Because I’m the only one that can kill them.” I said.

“And I’m guessing that’s why you’re here now. And with your new mate and new family and to make me look bad. “Logan said.

“Logan. I didn’t come here to make you look bad. I came here to see my mother. Before she died. And being attacked by these creatures was eventually going to happen because I am the one that they want. I’m also the one that can kill them.” I said.

“You didn’t come here to kill me?” Logan asked.

“People came to me and told me that I had to come back and kill you. They believed that you were the one killing humans. But I know that you’re not so I’m not going to kill you. But these things threaten our existence. We need to put a stop to them and we need to do it now.” I insisted.

“Princess. Why would you want to do something like that?” The creature asked. And I looked at it before looking away. Totally ignoring it’s existence right now. But it wasn’t going to let that go. “Don’t ignore me, Princess.” He said.

“Because she is my Princess. And soon she’ll be my Queen. Once the master has her.” It said. And we all stopped and looked at it.

I looked at Ezra with a lot of concern on my face and Ezra let out a growl, letting it know that they were in for a fight if they tried anything to take me away from him.

“Your boss wants her to be his Queen?” Logan asked, also confused.

“Of course. You didn’t really think this was about you, did you? We knew that this was her pack but by the time we got here she’d already run away. So we needed to find a way to get her to come back here.” It said.

“You’ve been killing humans just to get my attention? Just to get me to come back to the one place that I hate the most?” I asked.
