Chapter 115
“Yeah. Pretty good huh?” He asked, chuckling as he retreated into his cage a little further.
“You’re not going out into those woods. We’re not using you as bait.” Ezra demanded.
“I was just thinking the same thing.” I said. “Come on. Logan, let’s get the hell out of here.” I said.
Logan looked at the creature and then looked back at me. He turned to follow me and Ezra out of the basement and we locked the door as soon as we got upstairs.
“If we can’t use me as bait then what the hell are we going to do? All our soldiers just came here for nothing? We’ve already got a plan in place.” I said.
“I know. But I’m not going to let you go out there.” He said.
“We could send a decoy. A female warrior that looks like me.” I said. And both the guys scoffed at that idea. “What? “I asked, confused.
“No she-wolf looks like you. I’m sorry, but they don’t.” Ezra said.
“Well, what the hell are we going to do then?” I asked.
“It can still hear us.” Logan said, looking at the basement door.
So we went to the other room and tried to continue the converstion where that creature couldn’t hear us. We weren’t sure how it was communicating with it’s friends or if it was able to communicate with them from where he was.
But we weren’t willing to take that chance.
“Alright. We’ll talk to the warriors at first light. Tell them the new information and come up with a new plan.” Ezra said.
“Alright. Sounds good.” I said.
“Before we go to bed, I just have to ask one more thing.” Ezra said. And Logan and I both looked at him. But he had his eyes fixed on Logan.
“What the fuck were you doing in our room earlier?” Ezra asked. And Logan looked at both of us, wide eyed and a little scared that we knew he was there.
“Learn to hide your fucking scent if you’re going to sneak around watching people have sex.” I said, patting Logan on the chest as I walked past him and towards the stairs.
Ezra was right behind me and we went up to our room where we checked on the kids again and then climbed into bed.
It had been a bit of an eventful night and even though we were tired, it was a little hard for us to go to sleep.
But eventually Ezra’s breathing started to even out and I could tell that he had fallen into his deep sleep.
I stayed there watching him for a while to make sure that he was definitely asleep before I crept out of bed again and I walked out of our room and I closed the door really gently.
I walked down the stairs to the ground floor and through the maze of a packhouse that we were in and I grabbed the key and unlocked the basement and I walked downstairs.

“I knew you’d be back Princess.” The creature said. But I just pulled a needle out of my pocket that I had collected from a first aid box in the kitchen before I came to the basement.
I dug it into my own arm and I took a blood sample out of my own arm and then I walked closer to the cage.
“Don’t fucking call me that.” I said, grabbing the creature by the skinny pale arm that wasn’t even human color, it was more of a greenish color, and I jabbed the needle into its neck and I injected my blood into it’s system.
Once all the blood was out of the needle I let go of it and it hissed and spluttered at me as it fell against the far side of the cage and I sat on a crate that was next to the cage and I sat there watching what happened to the creature
with my blood in it’s veins.
