Chapter 135
“Hey Luna.” Avery said, stopping next to me.
“I told you not to call me that you weirdo.” I said.

“Well, we’re in public. I have to show respect.” She said.
“You’re my best friend. I think we’re past that.” I said.
“How are you doing? I haven’t seen you for a few days.” She said.
“You know that it takes days to get this party organized.” I said.
“I know that. But you still need to take care of yourself.” She said.
“I am way beyond that. I have five children.” I said. And she looked at me strangely when I said that. “Speaking of which, I haven’t seen the twins. Have you?” I asked.
“Yeah. They’re running around with all the other kids.” She said.
“Alright. As long as they’re not getting into trouble.” I said.
“You said that you have five kids.” She said.
“That’s because I do.” I said, sternly. So she dropped the subject after that.
When the food was ready we all sat down to eat and I had to organize Octavia and the 8-year-old brats Max and Oscar. These two were the ones that we needed to keep an eye on.
I never planned on having any more kids, but it just sort of Happened and then we ended up with another girl that was our baby as well.
We have been especially protective of her. But the boys know all about Savannah so they know why we are the way we are with Octavia.
It’s my own fear really. And it’s something that I’m working on. But it’s been a tough road.
Ezra got up and made his usual speech to everyone and we all started eating and talking among ourselves.
I was helping Octavia cut up her meat and telling the boys to sit still and eat. They can go and play after they eat. But they were itching to get back out there with their friends. But I told them that they weren’t moving until they ate everything on their plate. And Ezra backed me up completely.
Suddenly we heard a really weird noise coming from the forest and Ezra and I both turned around to look in the direction of the noise.
“Hunters. Hunters.” A warrior yelled through the mind link
Everyone got up and started running towards the packhouse with their children or they were running towards the forest to help the warriors that were on patrol.
Aiden and Ezra started running towards the forest and I grabbed the kids and ran inside the packhouse, straight towards the shelter.
Avery was waiting at the shelter door and I gave her the kids
She tried to stop me from going back outside but I refused. just told her to take care of my kids and I ran back
outside of the house.
I started running towards the forest when I saw something out of the corner of my eye.

It was someone running into the pack territory and I took off after them and I managed to catch them and tackle them to the ground.
Their hood fell off and all I saw was really long blonde hair coming down on either side of her face.
When she stood up to look at me, I gasped and took a step back.
“Savannah.” I gasped.
But she looked at me weirdly and she lifted her gun and shot me in the shoulder with a silver bullet before she ran back towards the forest.
I got up and saw that I was bleeding a lot from my wound but I still managed to run after her into the forest, but I had to stop at the border. I was right behind her but I couldn’t catch her.
“Morgan.” Ezra yelled, running up to me.
He saw me bleeding and he grabbed his shirt and placed it on my shoulder.
“I saw her. I saw her.” I said.
“What are you talking about?” He asked.
“Savannah. It was her.” I said. And he stopped and looked me in the face. He could tell that I wasn’t kidding. I was in shock that I could barely even feel the silver in my arm. I just stared off into the forest where she had disappeared to.
