MORGAN’S POV
As we were preparing that afternoon I was outside with the warriors and Ezra and Aiden. We were going over our strategy and we knew that we had left it to the last minute, but we weren’t sure who was watching us.
Scouts had just been deployed out into the forest to see if they could find any traces of anyone hanging around the outside of our pack.
They had found some traces of people being there, but it looks like they had been gone for a couple of days. So we were happy about that. They didn’t know what we were going to be doing.
“Are you sure you want to do this mom? You can stay here. The Luna of the pack doesn’t need to fight.” Aiden said.
“She’s my daughter. I’m fighting.” I insisted.
“You and her are so much alike that it’s not funny.” Jason said.
“What do you mean?” I asked.
“Stubborn.” He said. And Ezra started laughing.
“I always knew she was going to take after you like that.” Ezra said.
“Oh shut up.” I said.
“Just remember, I want to try and talk to Camilla first.” Jason said.
“What if she doesn’t want to leave? What if she believes that you’re a traitor?” Aiden asked.
“Then there’s nothing I can do for her. But if I can explain everything that I know about Lilly to her then she might understand and want to leave as well.” Jason said.
“We’ll give you a very short amount of time to talk to her. And then we’re coming in.” Ezra said.
“I know. I know where she’ll be. I won’t need long.” Jason said.
“Alright. Everyone, it’s time.” Ezra announced to the warriors.
So they all said goodbye to their friends and families and I walked up onto the veranda and I hugged and kissed the kids.
They didn’t want me to go but they knew all about Savannah. I never kept her a secret. Her photos are hanging all over the house.
I wasn’t going to hide her from her brothers and sisters but I also never promised them that she would be coming home either. I always told them that we were going to try and bring her home. That’s the best that we could do.
We all walked off into the forest where we undressed and shifted into our wolves and Jason was getting a lift on one of the warriors backs.
“Please, just come with me?” Jason asked.
“Go to hell.” She said, storming back inside the dorm building.
So Jason gave us the signal to go ahead.
“Hurry up. She’s going to call the Captain.” He said.
So we charged through the forest and just bolted into the fences, knocking them all over.
The soldiers on watch that night opened fire on us, but the towers were taken out pretty quickly.
We heard a lot of noise coming from every different direction. But we all knew what we were doing. We had our orders.
The warriors were to take out the soldiers and Ezra and I went looking for the Officer’s Quarters.
When we came across the building, Ezra ran for the door and smashed through it like it was a piece of paper.
It had security on it but I guess they didn’t think they needed to werewolf proof it being inside the base. But they were very wrong about that.
