Lawrence nodded. "I'll have Julian wait for her outside the Vance Estate tonight."
"He better not miss this opportunity. If he ruins this, I'll kill him myself!" Arthur sneered.
The Vance family's retaliation against Stella was Julian's golden ticket.
If he failed to capitalize on it, Arthur would genuinely end him.
Lawrence nodded. "I understand."
"Is he still seeing that Sloane girl?"
Lawrence hesitated.
Of course they were still seeing each other. Ivy's resemblance to Rainey was uncanny.
Thinking about Rainey being dumped out of her cryo-chamber onto the dirt yesterday made Arthur's blood boil.
Julian was still harboring an explosive amount of rage toward Stella.
Hopefully, he could suppress it for tonight.
When Lawrence didn't answer, Arthur sighed. "Whatever. Once we get that blueprint, he can marry whoever he wants."
"But until then, he better not let his obsession with Ivy jeopardize the family's survival!"
Lawrence nodded. "I'll make sure he understands."
This was the biggest concession the old man had ever made regarding Julian and Ivy.
When Julian heard the news, he was ecstatic!
"Grandfather really said that?"
Currently, Julian and Vivienne were huddled in a cramped corner of the Sinclair building.
They literally had nowhere else to go.
Hearing that Arthur had relaxed his stance on Ivy finally brought a smile to Julian's face.
"Yes, but only if you execute tonight's plan flawlessly. Otherwise, you and Ivy..."
"I know, I know! I'll wait outside the Vance Estate tonight and bring her straight back. I won't let anything stop us from getting that blueprint!" Julian promised enthusiastically.
As long as they got the schematic, they wouldn't force him to stay married to that psycho. He could endure anything for a short while.
After a few more instructions, they ended the call.
Julian looked at Vivienne. "Mom."
"I heard everything," she replied flatly.
She hadn't expected Arthur to compromise on Ivy, especially since Vivienne herself had grown to despise the girl.
A sickly, fragile girl with kidney failure? It was a terrible match.
"I'll bring her back tonight!" Julian declared.
Pacifying Stella now secured his future with Ivy. He could swallow his pride for that.
Without hesitating, he dialed Stella's number.
...
Stella was already at the Channing Group headquarters.
Although Vincent was still desperately clinging to the Chairman's seat, it didn't affect her plans in the slightest.
Unlike the Sinclair Group, she had already purged the financial department here, allowing her to rapidly implement her own strategies.
In the CEO's office, Asher reported respectfully, "The board directors have been notified and are on their way."
"Director Zeller and Director Sullivan are currently overseas, but they called in to confirm they fully support your takeover."
