The company was gone, and the bank accounts were frozen!
All of Valerie and Xander's shares had been forcibly transferred to Stella.
Vincent was so enraged he nearly passed out again.
However, the nightmare wasn't over!
Stella marched right into the hospital.
When Vincent saw her demanding he sign away his shares too, he furiously tore the contract into pieces.
Pointing a trembling finger at Stella, he spat, "Don't... don't you even dream about it! Those belong to me! The old man gave them to me when he was alive."
The shares he held were given to him directly by his father.
Stella confiscating Valerie and Xander's shares made sense legally, since those were the ones she had handed over three years ago.
But what right did she have to take his?
Stella lowered her eyes.
She glanced at the shredded paper on the floor and gave the lawyer a look. The lawyer immediately pulled out a fresh copy.
Vincent was speechless.
Stella gave a hand signal.
Asher immediately stepped forward!
She didn't even bother wasting as much breath on Vincent as she had on Xander and Valerie.
"What... what are you doing?"
Seeing Asher marching toward him with a pen, Vincent's breath hitched in his throat.
No one bothered offering him a single word of explanation!
Asher grabbed Vincent's hand by force and slammed the pen down onto the document provided by the lawyer.
Signature and thumbprint, done in one swift, brutal motion!
When the lawyer tucked the document safely away, the veins on Vincent's forehead bulged with sheer fury.
"Stella Channing!!!"
This rebellious daughter—was she trying to defy the heavens?!
To force his signature like this... did she even see him as her father?!
Stella replied coolly, "I let you play Chairman of Channing Group for two extra days. You should be grateful."
She had been in a rush to go abroad to check on Sebastian. There was no way she would have intentionally let this family of four enjoy two extra days of luxury!
Two days was generous enough.
Asking for more was just pure greed!
Vincent gasped, "You... you are completely unreasonable! I'm calling the cops! I'm going to have you thrown in jail!"
Surely, forcing a signature for shares like this was a criminal offense?
Stella smirked. "I let you read the document so you'd know exactly what you were losing."
"Not so you could decide whether or not to sign it."
Vincent choked. "You..."
"Go ahead and call the cops! Did you forget my psychiatric evaluation? What I just took back are the assets you stole from me three years ago while I was suffering from Spiritual Amnesia."
"If you involve the cops, you'll be the one rotting in a cell!"
Stella's tone was incredibly light, savoring every syllable.
Yet beneath that lightness was an absolute, crushing dominance, as if every single piece of the board was entirely in her control.
Vincent was so furious...
He couldn't catch his breath, and he fainted right there on the bed!!
Stella just stared.
