Beatrice called the Necromancer over a dozen times, but no one answered. Her heart pounded furiously with rage.
Just as she was about to call him again.
Xander's call came in. "Mom, do I really have to marry Barnaby Prescott? I don't want to, I..."
At that point.
Xander burst into tears over the phone.
When Stella had locked her up, she was willing to agree to anything just to get out.
But now that she was free...
No matter what state the Channing family was in, she absolutely did not want to marry a simpleton.
If she really married Barnaby, the idiot, she would be laughed to death by the other socialites!
She couldn't do it...
Beatrice was already enraged.
Hearing about Xander's marriage to that simpleton Barnaby nearly made her faint on the spot.
"Don't worry, I won't let you marry Barnaby!"
Beatrice promised through gritted teeth.
Was this a joke? How could she let her precious daughter marry a simpleton like Barnaby!
Besides, Stella had already seized everything at Channing Group!
What leverage did she even have left to force Xander to marry Barnaby?
If she wanted the marriage so badly, she could marry him herself...!
"But the Prescotts just called and told me to report to their estate on my own in three days!"
Go to the Prescott estate on her own? What did the Prescotts think she was? It was incredibly humiliating.
At this, Xander cried even harder, gasping for breath.
Beatrice froze. "What?"
"I just got a call from the Prescotts telling me to go over myself in three days. They're taking it too far."
Beatrice was speechless.
Her chest felt incredibly tight!
The daughter she had pampered all her life was now being subjected to such humiliation because of Stella.
Stella deserved to die...!
"I'll handle this!"
Beatrice hung up the phone and dialed Malakai again.
She had to get her back to the Sinclair estate. Stella needed to crawl back immediately. If she didn't, none of them would survive.
However, after another dozen attempts, Malakai still didn't pick up!
