"Of course."
Taking advantage of that parasitic spirit occupying her body, the Sinclairs had used Julian to disgust her.
The Fitzgeralds had used Rainey to disgust her...
She had finally woken up. How could she possibly sit idle?
Asher nodded. "Understood. I'll make the arrangements. By the way, I ran into Ms. Channing downstairs just now. Was she here to see you?"
"Yeah. She's at a dead end."
Beatrice must have been pushed to absolute desperation, right? Otherwise, why would she even think to look for her?
"I spoke to her," Asher said. "Told her about paying back the money."
"Money?"
Suddenly hearing about Beatrice returning money caught Stella slightly off guard.
"You forgot," Asher reminded her. "Over the years, she embezzled a massive amount of company dividends to subsidize her own family."
Stella remembered now.
She had been so busy she completely forgot about that detail.
She shot Asher an approving look. "When you get that money back, half of it is your bonus."
Half? That was a massive amount!
Asher instantly perked up. "Don't worry, Boss. I guarantee I'll squeeze every last penny out of her for you."
A bonus that could easily reach millions!
How could he not squeeze with all his might?
"You really are my grandfather's protégé," Stella chuckled. "Just as utterly ruthless as he trained you to be."
He had just finished plundering Vincent and the others, and without missing a beat, he dragged Beatrice's maiden family down with them.
If Asher hadn't brought it up, Stella would have forgotten.
Indeed, it needed to be taken back.
That was entirely money left behind by her grandparents. How dared Beatrice take it to subsidize her own family?
"If I wasn't ruthless, I wouldn't be fit to follow you, Boss, now would I?" Asher replied.
Stella laughed harder.
Asher's silver tongue was truly something...
But for Stella, this was perfect! Right now, the kind of person she needed by her side was exactly a ruthless presence like Asher.
Just as Asher was about to leave with the files to handle the Fitzgerald projects.
His phone chimed with a message. He glanced at it, then looked at Stella with a smile.
"Something happened to Lawrence."
Stella raised an eyebrow. "What happened?"
"He's missing. The sky is completely falling at the Sinclair estate right now."
"Isaac got to him?"
