She was the type of person who would completely disappear in a crowd.
Holly had never been able to accept how low she had stooped for Julian.
She had scolded her countless times, but Stella never wanted to hear it, leaving Holly furious!
But now...
This was so familiar! The glamorous long waves, the flawless manicure, the head-to-toe couture—she had flawlessly reverted back to the girl she was three years ago.
Holly was so shocked she couldn't compute.
It wasn't until Stella spotted her and waved that Holly snapped out of her daze and walked over. "Tsk tsk, did something trigger you?!"
Yes, triggered!
For three years, she had been so 'triggered' by her agonizing love for Julian that she had morphed into someone unrecognizable.
So now, some new trauma must have snapped her back to her old self!
Stella put down her water glass and nodded. "It definitely did."
Going to sleep, knowing absolutely nothing, and waking up three years later as a married woman? That was the definition of trauma.
If she hadn't managed to claw her way back into her body,
that parasite might have actually gotten her pregnant with Julian's kid by now.
Thank god it hadn't gone that far, otherwise she really would have slaughtered the entire Sinclair family!
She actually owed that two-faced Ivy a thank you for keeping Julian occupied. He hadn't touched her once in three years.
If he had, she would have died of disgust...
Catching onto the phrase 'definitely did', Holly raised an eyebrow. "What kind of trigger?"
What could possibly make her snap out of her obsessive love for Julian?
Before Stella could answer,
Holly quickly added, "Wait, I just came from the hospital and ran into Ivy Sloane."
Stella raised an eyebrow at the mention of her name.
Holly continued, "Talk about karma. I don't know who she pissed off, but you should have seen her! Her face was swollen like a balloon, and she had scratches everywhere!"
"She's been terrorizing you for years, and now someone finally beat the crap out of her! It was so satisfying. I wish you could have seen it!"
Holly's voice dripped with absolute delight at the thought of Ivy's bruised face.
She knew exactly how arrogant Ivy had been toward Stella.
