The One I Should've Married (Stella and Sebastian) novel Chapter 19

Honestly, the fact that she didn't beat that piece of trash to death today meant he was incredibly lucky!

She didn't tell Holly about the whole ghost possessing her body for three years thing.

It was too absurd.

If it weren't for the lingering memories, Stella wouldn't have believed it herself.

Holly had just picked up her juice.

Hearing Stella's words, her hand slipped, and juice sloshed over the rim.

"What? You don't... want him anymore?"

She definitely heard that wrong, right?

She had treated Julian like an absolute treasure, even throwing a massive five hundred million fortune at him.

And now she was saying... she was over him?

To be honest, Holly still had no idea how Stella ever fell for Julian in the first place.

Three years ago, they were practically joined at the hip.

She knew Stella despised Julian back then, so she could never understand why she suddenly insisted on marrying him.

And then there was Bash. They were childhood sweethearts and even engaged.

With a fiancé that elite, how did she suddenly fall for the scum of the earth?

Thinking about that mess made Holly's brain ache.

"Yeah, I'm over him," Stella confirmed.

She said it with absolute calm, but Holly could hear exactly how serious she was.

Holly swallowed hard. "Are you... are you for real? What made you snap out of it?"

She had spent three years trying to talk sense into her, and suddenly the switch just flipped?!

"I had a psychotic break three years ago," Stella said bluntly.

Holly paused.

Was that even a real explanation?

"You practically gave them five hundred million! Are you saying you're just walking away from that too?"

The memory of her threatening to kill herself over the marriage was still fresh.

Holly just couldn't wrap her head around it.

Stella gave her a knowing smile. "I said I'm throwing the man away. I never said I'm throwing the money away!"

Holly was stunned once again.
