Looking at her flawless appearance from head to toe, she didn't look anything like the subservient housewife who had spent three years with the Sinclairs.
Beatrice and Vincent were even more shocked.
Vincent, in particular, couldn't believe his own daughter had just called him useless.
He glared at her, breathing heavily. "You ungrateful brat, is that how you speak to your father?"
Furious, he grabbed the heavy crystal ashtray from the center of the coffee table, ready to hurl it at her!
Stella's eyes turned icy. "Throw it, I dare you."
The chilling intent in her gaze was so intimidating that Vincent's raised hand froze in mid-air!
A mocking smile touched Stella's lips. "You schemed so hard to steal the company. I thought you'd at least build an empire for your precious little darlings to inherit. But it turns out, this is all you could manage?"
Her grandparents had drafted their wills long ago.
In those wills, the twins born to Vincent and Beatrice were left with absolutely nothing.
This had always infuriated the heavily biased Vincent.
So, when he finally caught Stella blinded by her desperate love for Julian, he seized the opportunity to strip the company from her!
Yet, the once-thriving Channing Group had declined year after year under his leadership...
For the past three years, they practically had to grovel to the Sinclairs at every turn!
But how could he ever admit it was due to his own incompetence?
He scoffed coldly. "Have you looked at the market trends over the past three years? Is that my fault?"
"So the market trend specifically targeted our company? Why didn't it crush the other three major families?"
Vincent spluttered. "You..."
"Vincent, please stop. It's all my fault. I shouldn't have made Stella angry."
Ivy suddenly chimed in, cutting him off.
Her victimized tone acted as a stark contrast to Stella's defiance, making Vincent despise his eldest daughter even more for her lack of obedience.
Stella cast a sideways glance at Ivy.
Terrified by the coldness in her eyes, Ivy shrank back into Beatrice's arms.
Seeing Stella act this way, Vincent grew even angrier. "Since you stole Julian from Ivy three years ago, you should have played your part as his wife perfectly."
"You caused this mess today, so you go apologize and beg for their forgiveness. Don't drag the rest of us down!"
Recalling the Sinclairs' harsh tone on the phone, Vincent wanted to drag Stella over there by her hair to apologize immediately.
But he didn't dare go to the Sinclair estate himself; he would only face humiliation.
Since Stella started this fire, she was going to put it out!
Hearing the word 'stole'...
