The One I Should've Married (Stella and Sebastian) novel Chapter 37

Vivienne unleashed all her pent-up fury regarding Stella directly onto Vincent.

The Channings were currently far beneath the Sinclairs in status. Since Vivienne couldn't do a single thing to Stella, she made Vincent her punching bag.

From Vivienne's furious rant, Vincent quickly learned exactly what Stella had done to the Sinclair Manor first thing that morning.

She had actually stripped the entire estate bare!

Just yesterday, he had warned her to be a good, obedient daughter-in-law if she wanted a peaceful life.

And today, she pulled a stunt like this...

Vincent bowed and scraped over the phone, issuing endless apologies. When the call finally ended half an hour later, he was completely exhausted, collapsing back into his chair.

Beatrice had heard every word through the speaker.

Her face turned ashen. "She has truly lost her mind. The Sinclairs will never let us get away with this."

Emptying the entire Sinclair estate.

She had completely and utterly offended them beyond repair.

Vincent groaned, "That ungrateful daughter. If she wants to throw her life away, fine. But she's dragging us down with her!"

The Channing family had only managed to stay afloat these past few years by relying on the Sinclairs.

Now, she had completely severed that tie. What were they supposed to do now?

Thinking about it made Vincent want to strangle Stella even more!

A dark, murderous glint flashed in Beatrice's eyes.

...

Meanwhile, at Sinclair Manor.

When Arthur returned from his morning Tai Chi session, he walked into a completely barren house.

For a moment, he thought he had entered the wrong property.

"What happened here?" he demanded, his voice chilling.

Eleanor screamed, "Kill her! You have to kill that wretched girl!"

In that moment, Eleanor truly wanted Stella dead.

So she thought the Sinclair family wasn't good enough to be her backing? Fine, then she could go straight to hell!

Remembering the sheer humiliation Stella had subjected her to today—it was no different than being stripped naked and thrown out on the street.

"What exactly is going on?"

Seeing Eleanor in such a state of hysteria, Arthur's tone grew even more authoritative.
